AH! I see what it is.. It's not that you're off-key...what you're playing is apart of the Minnie Riperton original, but the section you're playing isn't apart of the ATCQ version. Listen to the "lyrics to go" instrumental, then listen to your rendition, and I think you'll see what I mean.. Still, your ear is great. Not trying to knock your skills. I'd definitely like to hear you play (what I think are) the correct notes to the ATCQ version.

Hey dont mean to be a n asshole, you did a pretty good job but you got it wrong just before the loop starts again, your last two chords aren't the right ones, listen close. Sorry homes but I know my Tribe and that aint it.

The problem is the sample is pitch tuned and my Rhodes is tuned to A 440 Hz. They are mismatched so maybe it's the reason why you hear it different. Even if there is a possibility I made some mistake I can't spot it right now.
