Great stuff! Being a dog lover and avid motorcyclist I can't think of a better way to combine two of life's loves. Think I saw you and Bundy at the Creek not long ago. Way cool!
I can understand, we've had our share of cages, deer, pothole's, the list goes on & on. fast reflex's for a old man, we're still turnen & burnen..enjoy the ride!
I and my dog love to ride the bike, she's kinda famious here in my part if Indiana. Sory to hear CASH has passed, they're hard to get over. I got a used 10 year old taco dog, a big fat one, in fact we're gonna shut the shop down early and go for a ride right now.
Dude, you should really harness the dog. This looks very dangerous. Check out my video, I've got them harnessed securely. They feel safe and love riding.
@AspenNomad If you strap them in it's not a choice.. Chopper's got well over 50,000 miles under his ball's with NO strings.. I'm 6'3'' 250, the bike's 800lbs. do you really think that when shit hit's the shine ola, that they need to be tyed to dead wait.. Really!
@glideroad03 Tex no worries mate. I was only saying that where I ride I'm always braking hard to deer, elk and an occasional hard sideways dodge of a boulder. For me, if the dogs weren't harnessed... they would have been air-borne dozens of times with fatal consequences no doubt. Your dog is amazing though, but I must remain a skeptic based on my experiences. Also, I've been riding bikes for 30 years with NO accidents (knock on head). So I'll take the odds of wreck verses hard stop and harness.
That is such a cute cattle dog!! I want a crotch rocket so bad! My dogs too big to sit with me tho, hes mastiff. I love seeing dogs on motorcycles or boats just enjoying themselves! Thats what lifes about.
More power to you bloke. I too have been riding for more then 30 years with me best mates on the tanks, and still do. Just glad I don't live in N.S.W.
Hi Tex, Great vid mate! I remember seeing you stopping at the traffic lights with bundy on ure busa was really an awesome sight. Was waiting for vid of you on channel 9 news but didnt see it :(
From what I remember CASH was an awesome dog.. I remember reading articles in some mags.. Was CASH a pure red heeler? Just looks a little tiny in the video.. well when Ive seen other heelers.
Yes Cash was an awsome dog but he wasn't a pure cattle dog, hence: "The Runt with Grunt" His mother was a Blue Heeler and his Father was an Alpine Dingo, I think this is where the red came from. Cheers, Tex
Hi Tan, disappointed that u think that it is dangerous to have a restrained (& trained) dog on the tank of a motorcycle. Cash passed away 3 years ago as a result of a car accident. "Bundy" is my new dog. In 8 years and over 600,000klms of riding with dogs on the tank of my bike(s) we have never had an accident or control of my bike been restricted. In the opinion of those who have ridden with me, Awsome, yes, Dangerous, definetly not! Cheers, Tex & Bundy
Very very cool, although I may have seen one slightly cooler; a hippie couple on some old ex-military banger(dunno what, but nuts), and their grubby mongrel seemed to enjoy the ride a bit more...maybe "cash" just needs some media coaching!
Seriously tho - top vid...and nice bike!
(BTW- my cb125 is also known as the "runt with grunt"!)

Super dog too, sorry to hear he was killed. You've put together a fitting tribute to the little legend. Lovely to see a dog and owner so inseparable.
