yes, it's one of my few originals, I think i was inspired by a lot of harmonicist. I made a first version on " Little Blues #14 : Around the blues scale Harmonica in A" with a long introduction.

I started transcribing it yesterday--the tricky thing for me is that it starts in 3/4 time, and then seems to shift to 4/4, but there are some measures in which the time signature seems ambiguous to me. But the irregular time signature is part of what makes "Desert Street Blues" appealing to me: it's always "in the groove," but where the beat is going to fall can be unpredictable!

Hi Todd, I agree with you it's often the issue with free playing. For the story, We try with a friend to write down at least a grid or tab and we were unable to do that. When I slow down the tempo to wrote it down it's just like i simply can't play it ... Adam Gussow speak about in one of his video, sometimes when slow down a part of a song or a riff you have to transform it a little bit to make the job.

So far I have not been successful! When I try to play your exact same notes and timing, I feel my version comes out a bit stiff: it lacks the cool spontaneous groove you have. And when I try to create my own spontaneous version--based loosely on some of your riffs--then it ends up in strict 4/4 time, and it sounds a little dull and predictable to my ears: it doesn't have the unexpected timing quirks that makes your version work so well.
