For all those "disspointed" with the time, remember it's from a standing start. If you measure a cheetah covering 100m from a flying start it can do it in around 3.2-3.3s!

Yeah, they seemed pleased that it ran really slowly! Less than something like 40mph if you work it out! I wonder if Cheetahs can actually run 70mph, i mean imagine going along the motorway with a cheetah running besides you. i don't think the can tbf, i will only believe it when i see it, besides if you watch the videos of them hunting, if the could run 70 mph they would catch prey every time!

this is a joke a cheetah can go ALOT faster. this was under controlled conditions. guarentee you it could cover 100m closer to the low 5 second range !!!
