  • remeber trying to do this on the bus held the bars tried to stop the bus goodtimes!

  • 0:34-0:39

EPIC! If only there was a spider that can give you spider powers....*boner appears* Well there might be. The government might just be hiding it because they think that people might take advantage of the power and might turn evil or something. Remember....you'll only get powers if you promise to be good...that's why Peter got it. Also after you get it, you need to do lots of things. To see what they are like this and I'll post it in the comments.

  • I can't believe Spidey survived getting hit by that other train he's invincible.

  • wow 0:25 dock ock is more impressive than spiderman, the elusive back without seeing haha

  • @sebastian00095 oh! that's because he can share his and his claws' vision, so one of the claw saw it coming then he dodged xD

  • One of my favorite fight scenes in super hero history! Spider gets hit by a f**kin train and treats it like NOTHING happened! XD

  • why people at 0:59 don't get kicked by spider-man ? o.o ( special effects)...

  • God, How Cool Is 2:15 - 2:20 :D

  • green lantern makers should have studied this

  • Worked at a movie theatre when this movie came out, and I watched this scene sooooooo many times. Best spiderman scene in the whole series.

  • I love this scene

  • If Spidey can survive getting the shit kicked out of him by people like The Rhino in the comics, I'm sure he could survive that train impact. Plus, isn't there a scene where's he falls from like 30 stories in the air to the ground?

  • Yeah !! :D

  • "he got hit by a train and lived", um dude he's the freaking spiderman, he could do that.

  • how the hell did he survive that crash into the train o:

  • he got hit by a train and lived, after that you don't fear much for spiderman so i'm glad it was taken out. He just seems like superman afterwards ruins the feel that spiderman may actually be killed

  • @DoubleAgent244 He can really live through that dude, shut up.

  • OMG! The side-of-the-train fight scene made my heart stop out of AWESOMENES!

  • Tobey Maguire will always be the perfect Spider-Man.

  • This scene is fuckin intense, the level of anger Peter is using to fight Dock Ock

  • Seriously, fuck Sony for rebooting this.

  • What scenes were cut out of the movie?

  • 1:07.; Is Spider-Man wearing a different suit in this movie, or, is it still the same one from the first 'Spider-Man' movie?

  • @tthomaselli2

It's different. The spider on his back is thinner than in the first one.

  • I love that part from 0:33 - 0:37.

I mean, whoa. That was classic.

  • And 1:23 is still the most awe-inspiring scene in the whole fight scene.

  • 0:11 WAT DA HELL?!

  • I dont know why they cut those scenes out of the movie. It was tight. Whup his ass spidey

  • He looks like he is taking a giant shit mixed with alot of kidney stone shards when he stops the train.

  • spidey shud be dead after dis

  • 2:12 Jesus Christ he just got hit by a train.

  • @Stevenup7004 daaaaaammmmmnnn

  • best super hero fight scene...... EVER !!!

  • @OnlyTubenami This is the standard by which all other superhero fight scenes will be judged.

  • 0.09 is Lisa Niles from General Hospital- Love this scene!

  • guy in the train what the hell you got to check it out gag all day long 0:12 it is on just friken watch the damn thing i like spidey i know he's every move backflip frontflip reversel kick slam heads togther spidey and superman will make a good team up i tell you remmber the house with doc ock and mary jane did you see the way he lifted the thing mary jane could have died spidey is strong so is superman

  • Holy crap! That was awesome!

  • 2:12 GGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDD DDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • how do they possible make this green screen :P i'll paint a screen green and i'll get in 1 second spidey :D

  • I don't know what it is, but seeing Spidey take a freaking beating like that and to just keep on going at Doc Ock is pretty damn inspirational!!!

  • "what the hell" LMFAO

  • epic!

  • This is why spider man 2 is one of my fav super hero movies

  • whats diffrent from spiderman 2 and 2.1?

  • @Josh1234567897 it has more new footage that was cut of the original one

  • Thumbs up if you want or are going to go to the midnight primere of Spiderman 4.

  • one of the best film fight scenes of all time, imo....

  • DOCTOR OCTAGONAPUS BLAARGH!

  • Since when NYC Manhattan have elevated trains.

  • This movie is pure awesomeness in movie form.

  • since when can he stick to flat surfaces with his feet?

  • @AVTR346

    since aways

  • @narutocaprirequest2 so instead of crawling on walls

    he can walk on them

  • @AVTR346

    yes

  • this one was better

  • Oh dude.I got the DVD of spiderman 2 and it doesn't show up this (extended part) of the fight in the train. Its freaking awesome WAY BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL!!thanks for searching and put it on youtube.

  • way better

  • They shouldnt have cut it! That was the best part!

  • spider man is TOTALLY COOL! he is THE BEST super hero ever! he could defeat supermanany day.the only person that ever came close to killing him would be the green goblin. the COOLEST villien every would be green goblin with the doc ock arms and the simbote.and then he fell into a particle accilerater.

  • This is the best fighting scene in the spider man trilogy.

  • man.. that scene where Spidey recovers from a hard fall is EPIC.

  • 2nd favorite train movie scene for me;-)

  • spidy fucking rocks think if you were in shoes the cool ass mvoes you could pull

  • @cheetahlikescheese you know it doesn't just depend on the abilities given to you. you still have to move accordingly

  • So how can batman beat spider-man?(Makes no sense with this clip alone)

  • Why will they reboot the series?? I mean Raimi did a hell of a good job with 1 & 2, this is fucking awsome!!!!

  • @klassetompa

He bombed on the third, so Sony fired him.

  • @klassetompa Sony did not give Sam Raimi creative control for Spider-Man 4 . So Sam quit. Sam aimi did a good job with Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007).

  • @Hectorferjr2 I agree had had a different version of Spiderman 3 that what was shown in the movie. I orignally read he wanted Sandman as the sole villian in the 3 one he not want Venom in Number 3. But the producer Avid Aram said that whats the fans wanted to see and he must of had that pressure from the Studio. I mean I was so excited that Sam Raimi was going to direct Number 4 but when he left because of the problems the studios were giving hin it made me sad

  • @Shazam961 It made me sad too.

  • @Hectorferjr2 I wish the the new director Marc Webb and the new spiderman Andrew Garfield all the best cause its going to be tough for me especially trying to make a big hit

  • When Spidey just started to chase Doc Ock again after being smashed into a train himself, you just have know you can't mess with spidey!!!!

  • omg i understand why they edited some of it out, that part where he kept getting hit by the signs was unneeded. Then he gets hit by the train and swings right back, that was ridiculous.

  • wats the song 2:25 -2:25

  • @maxmillon If you meant 1:25 - 2:25, I think the song is called Train/Appreciation, which is probs obvious by the title :P But it should be that one mate.

  • Excellent! This is an improvement over the one in the theatrical release. One major question, though: why doesn't the train stop at the station?

  • yeah spiderman 3 wasn't the best one, but at least peter kicks more ass with the venom suit. When hes regular ol' spiderman, he takes a big beating and still comes back. It was kind of refreshing to suddenly see him go all out in the 3rd one.

  • 2:24 I love how of a gentleman is Doc ock "Ladies first"

  • werent there some extra parts in the beginning too when they were on top of the building? but maybe im wrong...

  • 1:22 hah a normal person would died or being very wounded for the rest of he's life. But not spidey ! =)

  • @ozrtrasaken

What do you mean "Very wounded" ? A human would die from that amount of force. Organs destroyed.

  • spiderman 2 didn't need 2.1, though it was a bit better. IMO they need to do this with spiderman 3 to make it better, there are so many scenes that were taken out that could have made it more enjoyable. examples: sandman breaking into a lab and threatening a scientist, peter going out in the black suit doing stunts then gets a venom face for a lil, sandman talks to his family at the end, venom trys ripping peters face off with his web, and so on.

  • @starbuckscowgut17 so those scenes actually happend?

  • @DBZoriginal26 yup they happened and didn't make it to the release.

  • I like the extended part, except for the getting hit by the train...like others have said, if doc ock is trying to bring spiderman to harry alive, how does he know spidy won't die from a head on collision with a speeding train?

  • excatly

  • @8comicbookman8

Because he knows he's a "Superhero" and cna withstand such great force.

  • the scenes that were taken out really add to the fight....shame they cut it down

  • Is the deleted hotel room fight scene in the 2.1 version as well? It's the scene where Spidey is being thrown around the room by Doc Ock. One of the best movie fights I have ever seen.

  • So this is the 2.1 version. I'm satisfied. MORE COMPLETING than the usual film. The scene-by-scene add -ups is like a sandwich spread. Adding more flavor to the movie.

In the usual movie... Only the chosen essential scenes are used to summarize the story, following the limit of 2-3 hours running inside the theater (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

All I mean---- there is no skipping of scenes in the 2.1 version. All revealed-- so it's called an extended scene or movie. (-_;) 5/5

  • 1: 40 to 2: 16 is like an over excited child took control of the movie or something.

  • LOL! Hahaha! Just laughed at your comment... Over excited child! Haha looks like the child poured out his imagination & experiment on the movie instead of trying it to his spidey & ock toy haha!

    CHILD' PLAY lol! XD

  • It would have actually been cool but Ock's supposed to be taking Spider-Man to Harry alive. How's he supposed to know the guy can take a collision with a train?

  • Lol agreeable! ya' got a point there

  • i that that whole part, im upset they cut it out of the film

  • this is my favorite fight scene in

    spider man 2

  • Hands down the best action sequence in a Super Hero Movie I have ever seen! The best line of producers, actors and voice overs as well!

  • @toure121 have you not watched blade 2?

  • The action sequences once again are entrancing and the story is well written. Kudos once again to the actors involved and Sam Raimi on creating another hit.I Enjoyed Watching This Movie At BigOnlineMovies . c o m

  • 0:21 i like how spiderman screams lol

  • To show Spiderman surviving a head-on collision with a train so easily would've made him too invincible for my liking, and would've made Doc Ock feel less threatening as an adversary. Amazing sequence, but smart to cut it.

  • Guys, I agree with that this is an awesome action-packed extended fight scene onboard the train but there is two reasons why all the extented scenes in Spider-Man 2.1 did not make it to the therecal version of Spider-Man 2

Reason number 1: Spider-Man 2 would have been 135 mintutes long (2 hours and 14 nintutes long) although we would not mind that at all.

Reason number 2: The MPAA would have rated Spider-Man 2 rated PG-!3 for stylized intense and menacing sequences of action violence.

  • It was rated PG 13 anyway. lol

  • 1:00 my favorite part. Love the way he crashes right back out of the window.

  • This is the best battle out of all the Spider-man movies!

  • 2:17 random. spider man just all the sudden is swinging. I see why they took that out.

  • i like this one better..but how the fuck does spidey come out of no where at 2:17???

  • the camera zoomed in

  • It's the fact to show he's still ok. Didn't you see how the camera zoomed across below before moving up again? In that short amount of time, Spidey quickly recovered from that hit and continued trying to get to Doc Ock.

  • wtf? how did spidey com out of mid air at 2:17?

  • God, alfred was such an amazing doc ock, I don't know why they cut out the extra parts in this fight!

    I loved the fight at 1:40 !

  • yeah....geeting beatten by a train is just too much lol....I liked the scene thou

  • I love the vertigo in spider man 2....I LIKE that spider man got beatten a lot in this cut, though gettin hit by a train was too much....but when doc oc grabed spider man with his tentacles It almost feels like I'm the one hanging by the train...SM3 never managed to capture that feel

  • I dont like how spidey takes so much damage, im glad they took this out of the movie. getting hit by a train at that speed is a bit much yea know, plus spidey is way to cool to be beaten up that bad ,even though he is considered the underdog

  • i do like Octavius' shifty little elbow at 1:44. its all very well having 4 metal tentacles, but you can't beat getting your own hands dirty.

  • I love Octavius's face at 2:21, he's like "WTF"

  • well idk cause Spidey seems to have great reflexes so i seriously dont know

  • 2.1 was the definitive cut of Spider-Man 2

  • Spidey 2 has my favorite fight scenes of all time.

  • Instead of just speed, power and agility... in any future Spiderman film I'd like one scene where he saves the day with a bit of whizz-kid science ability.

To display intelligence against his foes, like he sometimes did in the comics and cartoons...

Kingpin (amazed as Spiderman deactivates the device and prevents them being destroyed): "Spiderman is a scientist?!"

  • u are so right

i was thinking the exact same thing

  • Spiderman is actually a growing spider, meaning that as Peter gets older so will the spider in him, so when hes like 40 he'll be as strong as the hulk or something like that. Random fact =P

  • I don't care if my comments gets thumbs down, this scene is way better then the one shown originally.

  • i wish they didnt take this out but i do think getting hit by that train was a bit much and they shouldve taken that out. and how does doc ock take all those hits from spiderman i know he pulls his punches when fighting a normal person but still

  • - If Spidey isn't carful he could kill Doc Ock since he (Spidey) can lift 20 tons max

    - So even if he pulls his punches he tries very hard not to put force in it just enough to knock him(Doc Ock) out

  • yea i know that but like he would be swinging real fast and knock into him and stuff

  • 2:11 LMAO! XD

  • wowee...That's all i got ta say about this

  • awesome! this helps to explain why Spiderman would be so exhausted as he stops the train.

  • How can you ever get tired of watching this?

  • No. Ten times better!

  • The only inconsistency I see is when Doc Ock grabs Spiderman and starts swinging him in a pendulum-fashion on the train roof.

It switches to passengers shocked at the sound above... (showing the same guy who later says "He's so young") but those passengers were in the first carriage of the train - not in the middle section which is where Doc Ock was swinging Spiderman about.

  • Comment removed

  • They could have kept them grappling on the side of the train when they pass by the station, they also could have kept spidey pouncing doc ock if they just trimmed the part with him getting smashed into the rail signs a bit.

  • yeah but the seen of him getting hit by the train is just ridiculous

  • I know that's what i thought. He would've been out cold from the extreme impact of that speeding train...and then he came back swinging into action. i was like ' Huh?! ' Especially the one side fighting scene. But them passing by where the people were waiting at the train platform doesn't make sense. As you notice when the camera backs away, it shows the train running on the right, then the next scene shows running on the ' left ! ' Is this the two deleted scenes on video?

  • Yeah...if he's unfazed by a train, then a punch from anybody would hurt their hand (or tentacle, as the case may be).

  • Comment removed

  • Your right, he is strong, Very strong but like always, hollywood always downplays the hero's power thus making him weak.

  • yea

  • Spiderman's fist would have penetrated doc ock's body if he had used his full strength.

  • Comment removed

  • 3?!

no offense but i did not enjoy 3s story at all

  • Comment removed

  • ah wait though at 2:16 you see him in the background swing towards the train then it zooms.

  • 2:12 ouch

  • Yeah, that's something that was left out of the original. @_@

  • I knew the difference, the original was he didnt hit by a train and hit by the arms of doc ock but this video is different, this one spiderman got hit by a train..

  • Comment removed

  • i like this fight scene, but I think the whole "Spiderman get hit by a train and somehow miraculously appears fine and swings his way back" kinda felt weird and awkward to look at.

  • Best fight scene in the entire trilogy. And they did the right thing by deleting those parts because this was supposed to be a fast paced action scene but they just dragged on too long.

  • Is there a Spiderman 1.1?

  • Was anyone else reminded of The French Connection after watching this fight?

  • way to put my video to shame lol

check it out guys "spider-man movie test"

  • The best fight out of the entire trilogy!

  • u added to it

  • 0:35 OH MY GOD!!! SPIDERMAN THE BEST XD

  • Ok, its been said that DOC OCT got a little radiation from the experiment which gave him little superhuman strengh, im sorry if you guys think im trying to say he has the power to move suns.... as I only say a little more resistant to damage than a regular human.

  • 0:47-0:52 Extended

    1:38-2:22 Extended

And thats it XD.I wish there was more and why did they cut those two really small scenes out -.-

  • I Bet people on the train were taking pictures of the fight...ecspically 1:10

  • the best scene of spider-man 2 :)

  • I heard SM3 got bad reviews but I actually liked it, a lot. I liked Harry's death scene, the darkness and Gwen, I think. But hmm which one's the best? maybe the 2nd.. the 1st one was kinda good

  • who the hell cares? if you nitpick everything to death like that you won't enjoy anything. and that's denying yourself an awesome fight scene to enjoy.

  • Catholic, right?

Well, I dunno about you, but I don't like fooling myself on purpose...

  • c'mon, you mean to tell me you don't think this is a kick ass fight sequence?
