Hi there, I have the same motherboard and cpu as you. I don't know a lot about oc though. I used the asrock oc software to oc to 3.3ghz, I tried pushing it to 3.5 but it just kept freezing and I had to reboot, thats also 3.3 without changing the core frequency. If I list my rig below, do you think you can help me reach the results you have please?
@davidsingle500 Don't use the OC software you should look in your bios you should have an auto feature there then just take it up a notch little by little. Oh and when you stress test use either linx or prime95. Try leaving your timings to your memory relaxed as well till you get the oc that you want.
@N3messis The only other benchmark I ran was linx for stability and I did 20 passes stable. I don't have this CPU anymore though I have an i5 750 now. :-)
@onix913@onix913 I have that proccesor too :D (sorry for my bad english, I'm Venezuelan :P) if you want, put in google "team oc vzla" and you find us :D
@N3messis LOL your motherboard is doing better then mine because I can only get 3.8GHz and I know these procs can get way more on another board I will probably change it soon though.
what SOAD song is that?
