I laugh at every giants fan. Giants won off of lucky catches in the fth quarter, the only skill that exists on that team is the defense and its obvious you wouldnt of won if it wasnt for lucky catches. Anyway, it wouldn't exactly give Cassel a moral boost if he found out he's been benched for Tom Brady again (which is likely if he returns), especially after a relatively good season. But now people know what his potential is after this season, people will want him where there is a quarterback problem, like the Jets if Brett Favre retires. Therefore, trades may occur.

Yeah, Matt Cassel isn't going to be playing for the Patriots next season. He will most likely play as a starter for another team seeing how everyone got to see his talent this year and he's going to have to many offers to want to be Brady's shadow again.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. Favre needs to quit though, he just doesn't have it anymore. Only thing is Patriots might want to keep him to fall on incase Brady doesn't come back and play like he used to. Look at Palmers injury a few years ago, he's never been the same since. It's hard to say if he'll be the Brady we all remember or not, it really is.
