Ok. Fine! If it could induce earthquakes I would like someone to provide some credible documention that shows research in to How HAARP or weather can manipulate a volcano, without causing extreme effects that would kill us first. Please, I wish to see the logic behind this.

Ok, this is reply to some one else. Lets say for the sake of argument, HAARP could manipulate weather, Ok fine. However weather is not related to earthquakes. Earthquakes are the slipping and breaking of rocks along fault lines, the snap creates S and P waves. Even if HAARP had the technology to make this occur it would take so much power, we would know about it, plus it just currently impossible. HARRP can not manipulate volcanoes either. Im ignoring weather for now.

I went through St. Helens. Until you have been in the path of an ash cloud you have no idea how disorienting it can be. And the smell of potash is overwhelming. It is no fun digging out either. Our roof almost collapsed and it took weeks to clear out the neighborhood of ash. But our flowers were spectacular that summer. Everything that could grow was huge!

HAARP would have nothing to do with this, even if it was a black box project. HAARp studies auroral activity in our atmosphere. For the sake of argument, if it was to control anything, it might be the weather. This volcanic lightning is caused by convection and friction with in the ash cloud, a little different then your standard cumulonimbus. Get over the HAARP thing. It isn't even relevant here.

Puyehue is a comparable eruption to Mt. Pinatubo in 1991, possibly even stronger. Puyehue and Mt. Pinatubo are both ratings of a 6 on the Volcanic Explositivity Index.
