which do you think is better for Zerg, drops or nydus worms?

@tryosaur eh..they both have their uses..nydus worms can litterrally carry every unit you have but are kinda easy to stop if they see them and with overlords its easier to do the same thing u do with medivacs like drop some hydras have them shoot and pick em back up ect.

@tryosaur Also, if you use overlords you can escape with your army even if some of your overlords die. If you use the nydus worm they can snipe it and stop you from retreating. Overlords are more for harrassment ex hydras in the mineral line Nydus worms are more for actually attacking your oppent full on. That is usefull if you are going against a turtle, who set up bunkers and siege tanks at the front of his base, you would force him to unsiege and leave his bunkers or "lose my whole fing base"

I play Protoss and whenever I do a drop I unload then use my Warp Prism's energy field to warp in more units. Now I have more units than I can carry away. Should I just stop warping in more units or allow them to die after I carry away my original units?

whats your take un unseiged (?) tanks. seige em up before the huge fight or leave em unseiged to move em around and for the faster attk rate. also - in your opinion is it good to use the 250mm cannon skil liberally a good idea in every fight or would it just be used in select cases (such as small numbers of thors vs small numbers of colossus or other units which are suseptible to stuns.)

I once droped hallucinations of archons at back of base, and HT with some morphing spheres to make it look real, then enemy terran in panic sent 4 BC's and a thor, then i feedbacked them and striked front of now lighty defended base. :D (the BC's and thor nearly died, so they woudlent really matter.)

The game I played after watching this video, my opponent had 2 bunkers at the top of his ramp, and I was doing a 4gate. It clicked for me: "I want to get these units to a place I can't walk them to!" (behind the bunkers) I kept the contain going while getting robo + warp prism, then dropped a few units in the back, and attacked with my main army after he unloaded the bunkers to deal with my drop. :-D Thanks DayJ! <3

at about 20:30, you talk about terran drops and how to retreat. what if they have vikings out that were our of position, prior to the drop, then come in, and its almost impossible to get out. do u leave the hellions or still retreat, no chance to save ur medivac.

i think you should do a video on nydus worms. They are extremely underused, and in my opinion they are the biggest game changers. Kind of hard to do anything when nydus worms pop up all over the map. Pop up, attack somewhere, go back in, pop up somewhere else, I've played games and the opponent cant even move his army fast enough. they're beast

As a silver leaguer who doesn't typically use drops i found this EXTREMELY helpful, actually saved me in 2 games where my opponent was keeping me stuck on 2 vs 4 bases and it gave me the opportunity to turn things around

You speak about timing a lot, and when to attack. In my opinion to time an attack well you need to know what the opponent is doing. DO A DAILY ON SCOUTING WELL.

@Jasiominator I think that's only kinda true. Day9 talks alot about deducing what your opponent ~can~ have based on seeing very little and kind of picking up on what strategy they're likely employing. Or at least narrowing it down.

@SaculHsoj Watch some of the newest ones, he doesn't like scouting a lot. Only to get a very basic idea of what the opponent has, but mainly it is just making sure that you build correctly, and position troops well for what the enemy might have.

Well, my reasoning for letting my hellions, warp prism, or whatever die (which I usually do, not always) is that I simply don't have the attention to give if I am to micro and macro so much simultaneously.

Managing a drop takes up a large part of my focus and usually gets my minerals up into the 500s, and I usually value keeping my minerals low above keeping a couple of units alive.

Of course this is only because I'm bad, just saying, keeping those units alive isn't necessarily for everyone.
