They do say it at the end of the movie... It shows the book and at the end it says "To my dearest Noah, Read this and I will come back to you, Love Allie" or something

I'm actually a little glad this wasn't in there - it felt out of place. I saw the movie first and I knew Allie wrote it - there's a scene where it shows the first page and it says 'By Allie Calhoun - Read this to me and I'll come back to you'. I thought this felt too "tell not show".
