@derekbedami1 because the ace has 2 values (1, 11) so it depends how you feel about the next card because you technically can't bust. The other hand had no ace so one card can screw you over.

dont expect to get rich at blackjack anymore, its so heavily patroled in most casino's even if you get lucky thier likely to bounce you for being a card counter as thier using it as an excuse to weed out anyone with skill and keep suckers playing.

here dude, se the way u had a 7 & Ace, that would be 18 right, but u doubled down so it made the 18 into an 8.

then u got a 3, which is 11, but you said its 21, are you able to retract ur doubling down to make the ace 11 again??? after u said that u were doubling down

u forgot surrender...the only strategy i c is the basic strategy which almost every1 knows. With the basic strategy u would still loose moeny to the casino..but u dont loose as much as those who dont know it. When you count cards, thats where its beatable

WTF no strategy! Sure the dealer has a higher chance of winning over a beginner but if u memorize "basic STRATEGY" which tells u the mathematically best move possible with what cards are showing u decrease the dealers chance of winning and to increase your chance learning card counting is NOT impossible and u dont need a photographic memory there are simple systems such as the hi-lo count for starters. and always expect the dealrs face down card to be a 10 as theres more 10s then any other card!

This is completely false, in a single deck there are 16 cards with a 10 point value so why should we expect the dealers face down card to be a 10, ridiculous logic.

if u get a deck of cards and count them under 40 seconds u are able to know wich ones are going to be missing its like a magic tric or a fat woman with big breats mmmmmmmm ha ha ha jk, people the dealer allways wins.. only play thwo or three games...

Jack, Queen and King all equal 10.

Ace is either 1 or 11 depending on your other cards. As for the having to stay at 17? That's the rules for the Dealer, not the player. The player can stay or hit at anytime they want.
