The problem with Trivium, is that they write one amazing song, and then copy it a billion times. Change the rhythm ever so slightly, add a few discordant chords here and there to change it up a bit, write new lyrics, but the chord progressions are basically the same.

Don't get me wrong, I love metal, and I love Trivium, but they aren't as creative as, say, Muse, Tyr, Rammstein, just to name a few. And yes, I understand they are different genres, but the 3 aforementioned bands write music that can be constantly listened to, all day every day, and never get boring. Trivium just doesnt write like they do, although they are kickass musicians!

Yeah usually I realize those kind of things after I already rendered the video and uploaded it. Then its not worth it to go back and fix it you know. Ridethelightnin69 to answer your question It's hard to really choose, but musically speaking Shogun is their best and Ember To Inferno is probably their worst. Musically speaking of course, a lot of the "hardcore" fans say Ascendancy is the best. It's a matter of opinion.

Ember To Inferno being the worst, mainly because it's their first album. To me, I like The Crusade the best. I don't know why, because I'm a fan of their screaming songs in Ascendancy as well, like Suffocating Sight. I can't really say much about Shogun though, as I've only heard Kirisute Gomen from it.
