free info from experience -- i have an obsession in playing with my hair - and it's really clear that im loosing my hair - the only way for me to get off my obsession so i dont end up losin my hair- is to shave my hair - i've been shaving my hair for years now and noticed my hair growing back - i can clearly see shaving my head encourages hair growth - after 5yrs my hair is almost back now - so dont be tricked just shave your head constantly, eat healthy and it'll grow back on its own. see ya!
@upinflamezzz you can always try propecia and rogaine to regrow some hair and to slow down the process. these work principally well in someone with earlier stages of hair loss.
thank u for ur reply..one more question..wat about synthetic hair transplant? is it successful..the reason m asking is i that i want full hair of head n i dun have enough hair at the back either..well i have sum but not much to fill the whole head?..
@rameezz007 first, it is not FDA approved for use in the U.S. second, it is terrible. very expensive, needs replacement, big risk of terrible infections. in short, nightmare.
@samlammd I am afraid I might not have enough hair in the donor areas, even if I do I would like to increase the density by transplanting from the beard, and otehr body parts, would that look at least somewhat ok?? what is your opinion? and what could be the cost
@Ddstairclimber i do not do body harvesting. the grafts are far inferior to scalp hair. i would have to see you to determine your donor capacity but typically even the baldest man has enough hair to do from limited to significant transplantation.
i have a question..what if sum1 doesnt have enough hair at the back? can u take hair from other parts of body like chest area? or can some one donate hair for u?
@rameezz007 most people have enough hair even if the fringe is not large. however, with poor density and very little remaining hair then there is a problem to refill the whole head. you can use chest hair but it is better as a filler than as a hairline to supplement back of the head hair. using someone else's hair is not possible. that will cause rejection.
How long before you can wash you hair with water turned up hi in a shower hitting you head? And I'm guessing you don't want to bind over, right after surgery.
@DBSpy1 for my patients i have them wait 24 hours, then low pressure for 1 week then normal pressure after that. no bending over for a day but o/w no big deal. again, this refers only to my patients. if you were are going to be operated on by another surgeon, you must ask him or her.
it comes from the back of the head. we only take less than a centimeter out, then close it so you will never know that such a small distance is not there anymore.
it can be achy in the back for the first week. yes, there is a "scar" but with normal lengthed hair in the back and if it is done well, it should look like a tiny fine less than 1 mm incision that should be barely detectable.
if you are a male, you have to be careful to get a transplant that young for fear of further loss and running out of donor hair. if you are a female, then you could be a candidate. the cost ranges between 8 to 11k ish.
i mean if you are male i am worried that you may suffer male pattern baldness and run out of usable donor hair to cover up the transplanted hair. so in short, yes, if you are male, you should wait until at least 30 plus in general to consider a transplant. these are not hard and fast rules but seek an ethical surgeon to give you proper advice.
great question. one of the #1 problems i see by novice surgeons is trying to fill the entire head with one pass. you cannot get adequate density on the front or the back so EVERYTHING looks fake like scattered grafts. we actually filled in his backside a year later and the patient is completely covered now. thanks for the great question!
im 16 and was wondering what age i have to be so i can get a hair transplant. My hair isnt recceding because my hairline hasn't budged and i just have a big forehead
Interesting video.
