  • Thanks for sharing this!

I just commented on a clip of Allen directing Whatever Works in which I said how much i love the film, and I do, yet I'd entirely forgotten that Allen and David had worked before.

  • Vintage Curb Your Enthusiasm...

  • jesus christ that girl is adorable.

  • @modshroom she was one of the pink ladies in grease

  • ahahah, his fucking hair, ahahahaha, Larry David, you're the man Larry.

  • pretty good clip. preeetty preeetty preeetty....

  • HOLY HAIR DOO!

  • LOL WOW THAT VOICE IS SO DIFFERNT.

  • This was the same year as the airing of the Seinfeld pilot.............who knew that Larry was on his way to stardom back then.

  • larry david dont look much diffrent over 20 years old this is

  • i bet he had this hair since he was born

  • I totally forgot Larry David was in this film.

  • hes sooo bald! hahahahahaha.. i love larry david

  • He has a much stronger NY accent than we're used to here.

  • Larry sounds different here. It's weird how your voice ages over time.

  • i was watching this great movie, when the dvd went nuts and stoped playing !!!!! right when woody Allen is in the grocery store (end)...im soooooo eager to see wat happend !!

  • when did he start going bald? childhood? lool

  • @dodojardin Yes.

  • OMG LD is so incredibly jewish,THIS is so incredibly Jewish LOL!!

I never got into "Woody Allen films" but I heard they were really funny. Can anybody suggest one to start off with?...

  • @atlasshrugged2u Annie Hall

  • @salmonico "Annie Hall" you got it, I am on it!

Netflix here I come. Love Diane Keaton btw, I'm pretty sure she was in it.

  • @atlasshrugged2u

Who are you to say what is "Jewish"?? I can suggest you: (a) start off with not stereotyping people; (b) cool it on the annoying abbreviations (c) learn not to be so fucking obnoxious. What are you, 12?

  • @eslgurucalif Uhm Moron?...Larry would say the same thing. Stop being so sensitive. You can't be a fan of "Curb" If your uptight about what I said about this being "very jewish" would it help to say that "Leon" from the show is super ghetto?...would that make you feel better?...IT IS WHAT IT IS, and it's beautiful when we can just all laugh at ourselves.

Oh and let me give you a hint a About supposed "steryotypes" (whispering) Everyone knows that the majority of that shit is true LOL!!

  • @atlasshrugged2u

I can tell from your bad spelling, your low-class diction, and your willingness to generalize about an entire group of people based on two caricatures, that you are provincial and not well-educated. Obviously you've never met enough Jewish people to see that most are not like Woody and Larry, as great as those guys are.

I suppose if my exposure to black people were limited to Leon and Snoop Dog, I'd believe those caricatures were true, too.

  • @eslgurucalif Your an asshole you know that?

Oh and If I spelled a word wrong I didn't hit the right keys. duh!!

All the actors you named are great! I love them all. I have everything Barbara Streisand ever did. I don't have to justify my love for Jews to you! Go get a life, and If you don't like my comments then don't respond back to them. Your the one that took this and made it ugly and have no idea who I am, and what Iv'e fought for on behalf of Jews themselves, so go get a life dude!

  • @eslgurucalif something tells me you're not being ironic...

  • @atlasshrugged2u

Also, with your convenient stereotypes for simple minds, how do you reconcile your Woody image with Daniel Day-Lewis, Paul Newman, Kirk Douglas, Lisa Bonet, Yasmine Bleeth, Gwyneth Paltrow, Harrison Ford, Lauren Bacall, Tony Curtis, Juliana Marguilis, Jane Seymour, and hundreds of other Jewish actors who were not Woody or Larry style neurotic misfit messes that you consider so emblematic of Jewishness. Get out there and challenge your ignorance rather than blithely accept it.

  • @eslgurucalif

And finally, let me assure you, that if you met Larry David in LA at a party and offered up your happy-with-yourself wink-wink "it's okay to stereotype Jews now" attitude in his face, he would not be happy. So once and for all, go fuck yourself.

  • @atlasshrugged2u : Annie Hall is a great one to start with.

  • @atlasshrugged2u no bananas or take the money and run!

  • larry david + woody allen = comic perfection

  • ACTING!

  • These pretzels ... are making me thirsty!

  • He is NOT a rapist This adopted Asian girl of Mia Farrow's jumped into his pants She made her choice. She preferred him to be her husband , she betrayed her adoptive mother first place. Woody Allen is a Genius - and now she has a kid from him Aleluya!

  • for god sakes she was 17 not 12

and he married her for gods sakes

    leave woody alone

  • Yeah, Brian. You're doing the same thing that Mia Farrow did to that oriental guy that Woody Allen brought home from the circus.

  • @alinytch is Roman Polanski your life coach? You ignorant piece of @#$%

  • @finnmaster a rapist??

  • yes. he was trialed for the rap of his and mia farrow's daughter, and the daughter admited that he did.

  • @finnmaster you mean the adopted one that married him afterwards? makes a lot of sense, dude :-)

  • @finnmaster farrow (the girl that addopts five people a week) addopted a korean girl, and when she broke up with allen, she accused him of rape of the abused daughet, who voluntarily married allen afterwards. allen was accused and prosecuted, he was never found guilty.

  • i never said he was found guilty

  • this is Oedipus Wrecks.

  • haha.. i love larry david :p

  • Wow!! A half-bald Afro on Larry's head!

  • its called a jewfro fyi

  • How does Woody Allen know he will direct that guy once?

  • He's come on leaps and bounds in his acting.

  • what happened to the women in the box?

  • still there

  • "these pretzels are making me thirsty"...

  • these pretzels are making ME thirsty

  • these pretzels... are making me THIRSTY!!!!

  • @louiecostello when the hell is that line???

  • @metyuewb seinfeld

  • @louiecostello so what does that have to do with this??

  • @metyuewb i dunno but people seemed to like it... oh wait i actually remember why i wrote that now, cos they're all saying that line because kramer gets a small role in a woody allen film. larry david wrote that episode of seinfeld, on some small level no doubt, as a sly nod to his own experiences with having small roles in woody allen movies. i havent seen "whatever works," but i hope to god the pretzels line is at least referenced in it. if not, woody's lost his genius completely.

  • omg

bald before i was even born

    XD

    hes a fucking comedy god

  • what a fro!!! - should a kept it for curb...

  • Haha.. it looks ridiculous

  • They're the same person?

  • Oh my dear lord

  • hes still bald!!!!!

  • He's like mr. strickland in back to the future. "jesus didn't this guy ever have hair!?"

  • is that magician scorsese?

  • no...

  • "Listen, if anything happens to your mother, I'll give you two free tickets to the next show" LMAO!!!!!!!

  • Larry David is in the new Woody Allen movie.

They showed a clip of it on the Tonight show and it is Fucking HILARIOUS!

Can't wait for the movie to come out!

  • that hair is frightening. Was he going for the "Larry Fine" look...?

  • The most jewish film ever..

  • This comment is directed at Tristi. ........Yes everything he says sounds forced, and for most normal people Larry David can be painful to watch, but that's what makes him so funny, that even though your teeth cringe when you have to look and listen to him, he'll still be his annoying but honest self.

  • so what ever happened? did they ever find her? where was she?

  • You can totally see how George Castanza was based off Larry in this clip. Just look at him.

  • Wow, that is him. I've see this film many times and never noticed him. This was a great short film BTW, as good as Life Lessons and much better than the other one (Coppola, rich girl in the city...?) Julie Kavner is in it too, right?

  • God, Larry david is awful.

    Woody is brilliant though.

  • :(.

  • lol, You dont get it. But your welcome to join when you do.

yes i realise i am being a prick, before you get all creative with your swearing as is the youtube way.

  • Hey, I don' t expect my opinion to be popular, but, it's what i feel.

I don't think he is a good actor, and everything he says sounds forced.

Love seinfeld, But hate seeing larry david.

(When you say it like that! It takes away my urge to swear! You bastard! (oh there it is again :D ))

  • to be honest, i agree with you.

But its not that i hate seeing Larry, because i love Curb, i just dont think he does aswell when he has a script...on curb without the script, i feel he's a great actor...y think?

    x

  • @trisiti anyone who argues that LD is a good actor in the traditional sense is a bit silly. the fact that he constantly references how terrible he is at acting during curb (and think about how they wouldnt let george play himself on "Jerry") kinda suggests that he knows it too. however, when it comes to curb style improv... well he's just the best at it

  • that is one fine hairstyle mr david!

  • I haven't seen this film, is it one of Woody's good ones?

  • it's kind of a compliation movie- one part is a woody allen, one part is a martin scorcese, and i cant remember the others off the top of my head- it's not the best work by any of the people involved but it's quite good overall..

  • The first part is Scorsese and the last is Coppola.

Woody has the middle segment with this "Oedipus Wrecks": overall pretty funny and way better than the depressing first segment and the boring last segment.

  • Yeah Coppola- how could I forget him, he directed the Godfather! :) haha... erm, oh yeah, and Bram Stoker's Dracula and Jack...oh well :P

  • it's three completely separate short stories. this one is not too good; the coppola one truly horrible (prob. lot of it was done by sofia); scorsese short is a masterpiece, with nick nolte.

  • I agree that Life Lessons, I think it is called, is genius. I love Martin's little silent movie like irises, opening paint splatters, indulgent, yes, but sometimes indulgent can be pure bliss.

  • Larry will be starring in the new Woody Allen movie called Whatever Works. Should be coming out sometime this year.

  • So what happen to his mother?

  • She ends up in the sky, observing his every move and scolding him every minute of the day.

You should see the film ; )

  • These pretzels are making me thirsty!

  • Ha ha1

  • Yes it is.

  • @tranzzlime crack head

  • @tranzzlime You didn't write your comment!

  • Larry David looks like Larry Fine.

  • bunch of jewish dudes, CLASSIC!

  • It's so obvious now where George Constanza came from--A mix of Larry Davis & Woody Allan.

  • dis you go out of your way to spell every name wrong?

  • Ha! Is Larry Davis related to Sammy Davis, Jr.? They're both Jewish. BTW, you spelled "did" wrong!

  • haha oh yeah.

  • hey don' dis da dis

  • Faaaaarrr out!!! Never noticed this!

  • Nothin' like hearing a New York jew conversation... music to my ears!

  • Has LD got a big part in the new movie?

  • PITTSBURGH!!!!!!!!!

  • Can't wait to see their upcoming collaboration!

  • hahahhaha larry david

  • Now I want to know where Woody's mom went.

  • LD, you rule.

  • LD!!!

  • LD!!!

  • can't wait for the new woody allen/ LD movie

  • Larry looks like he has Prodigy hair

  • yeah or art garfunkel hair
