Heh, I was like that... a week ago, now the only thing I have troubles with is landing on the moon... MOONLANDER, Y U NO SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!?!?!?

Anyway it's a quick game to learn, I learned the basics in a week because I had already played other space sims and watched a couple tutorials while the game was downloading :P

Bring an ASAS, enough fuel, and a good engine setup, and it gets easy fast.

Patience? With a strong rocket it takes about 2-3 minutes to get to a height where you can start an orbit, maybe another 20-60 seconds to adjust the orbit.

Of course it's possible, For most rockets, you just start tilting slightly (10 degrees) at around 10,000 metres, and then every about 15,000 metres after that, tilt another 10 degrees, use M to go to map view, when the Apogee (Ap) reaches about 100,000, shut off your engine, wait till you get to that altitude, and boost prograde until the path encircles the planet, then shut off the engine. If that didn't make much sense to you, there are 100+ videos on youtube on how to do it right.
