I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree with your theory sir. I have heard this sound personally and I live in the northeast region of the US. It occurred during new years eve while I was praying. At some point during my prayer the noise appeared and started really low. It eventually got louder and interrupted my praying. It didn't come from outside and it seemed to come from above or some other place. Eventually the bizarre noise left, but I take that as a sign. We need to be paying attention.

This is wrong, harmonic tremors sound nothing like there sounds. Don't listen to this poster, the sounds are something completely different. I've traveled with my father whom is studying earthquakes and we have heard harmonic tremors many many times and they do not sound like the sounds depicted in these videos at all. Not even close. I suggest the video creator listen to some real harmonic tremors whilst comparing to the sounds in these recent videos. They are nothing alike.

not sure how exactly to respond, as if you are correct and these are in fact sounds from all the earthquakes as said in the dictionary. Then I can only assume we should still be concerned. Almost more so than any other theory as most people around the globe have never heard these before which only leads to one conclusion based on that definition. Common sense says there are more now than ever before and may be much much worse in the very near future.....no?
Wouldn't be ruled out that since the only thing of note of 2012 is the comet passing that could reverse the magnetic pules of the north and south pole (In theory) wouldn't it be possible or likely the sounds would be magnetic vibrations sent over frequency. The idea of magma traveling or movement to create harmonic sounds also makes sense though why in so many areas at once? It wouldn't make sense for activity to be everywhere. Even the earthquakes were not all at once.
I cannot say what they are .I have never heard these sounds. The videos I have seen appear dodgey and can easily be created with basic audio and video software. I would just like to let you know after countless hours of research there is not 1 video, that a news crew has captured, of the sound anywhere. No news stories that show the sound as they captured it live. Only news taking about others who have captured it. What are the chances that a noise this loud has not been captured by 1 U.S. News organization. Hi brother! I've noticed there are four distinct sounds - a trumpet-like sound; a roaring/shrieking sound; metallic vibrations and thunder-like bursts. I've also noticed that many of the vids are bs from friggin' idiots just playing their little audio toys and taking their cameras to the sky. As these sounds are different, can they be coming out of caves also, like the caves are the earth's mouth 'vocal cords' too? The increase in seismic activity would certainly bring these extra things.
I was hearing the sound last fall but it had stopped until this week. Now I'm hearing it about every evening. I don't have the TV on in the evening so that may be why I am hearing it. It is not loud and sounds like it is coming from the north from me here in NE Kansas. It is not constant. I hear it for a while and then nothing and then hear it again. Earthquakes and stressed faults do emit radio frequencies. And there have been reports of audible sounds heard before tremors in the past. I live in an earthquake prone area myself but have never heard theses sounds. However that doesn't mean they don't exist. But these sounds have an almost metallic rhytym to them that is very curious. I suppose it could be due to magma, definately a possibility. The sound vaguely resembles that of noisy plumbing in a house or apartment, isnt there magma chambers? Could just be noisy plumbing of the earth. Can we get some seismic results from this time, I'd expect to see something on the graphs.. I know the sounds I heard in Edmonton also happened during a deep freeze of temperature, coincidence? What were the weather reports from other parts of the world that heard these sounds.

I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree with your theory sir. I have heard this sound personally and I live in the northeast region of the US. It occurred during new years eve while I was praying. At some point during my prayer the noise appeared and started really low. It eventually got louder and interrupted my praying. It didn't come from outside and it seemed to come from above or some other place. Eventually the bizarre noise left, but I take that as a sign. We need to be paying attention.

If this were true then there would have been these "noises" when Mount St. Helen blew and when Mount Aetna blew,or when others have blown but there wasn't... this is a good attempt at an explanation, but it really isn't consistent. This is wrong, harmonic tremors sound nothing like there sounds. Don't listen to this poster, the sounds are something completely different. I've traveled with my father whom is studying earthquakes and we have heard harmonic tremors many many times and they do not sound like the sounds depicted in these videos at all. Not even close. I suggest the video creator listen to some real harmonic tremors whilst comparing to the sounds in these recent videos. They are nothing alike.

not sure how exactly to respond, as if you are correct and these are in fact sounds from all the earthquakes as said in the dictionary. Then I can only assume we should still be concerned. Almost more so than any other theory as most people around the globe have never heard these before which only leads to one conclusion based on that definition. Common sense says there are more now than ever before and may be much much worse in the very near future.....no?

Wouldn't be ruled out that since the only thing of note of 2012 is the comet passing that could reverse the magnetic pules of the north and south pole (In theory) wouldn't it be possible or likely the sounds would be magnetic vibrations sent over frequency. The idea of magma traveling or movement to create harmonic sounds also makes sense though why in so many areas at once? It wouldn't make sense for activity to be everywhere. Even the earthquakes were not all at once.

I cannot say what they are .I have never heard these sounds. The videos I have seen appear dodgey and can easily be created with basic audio and video software. I like your answer Norton2012 and feel your explanation is pointing in the right direction. Incidently harmonic tremors can also be strong enough to be felt as humming or buzzing by people. The recent earthly disasters and weather changes could be aiding in these sounds and therefore just a natural byproduct. If real then oh S*** lol

Hiya,
I would just like to let you know after countless hours of research there is not 1 video, that a news crew has captured, of the sound anywhere. No news stories that show the sound as they captured it live. Only news taking about others who have captured it. What are the chances that a noise this loud has not been captured by 1 U.S. News organization. Really the chances are zero ,especially since the noise lasts so long.In my opinion this is a hoax all together. Thank you :)

Hi brother! I've noticed there are four distinct sounds - a trumpet-like sound; a roaring/shrieking sound; metallic vibrations and thunder-like bursts. I've also noticed that many of the vids are bs from friggin' idiots just playing their little audio toys and taking their cameras to the sky. As these sounds are different, can they be coming out of caves also, like the caves are the earth's mouth 'vocal cords' too? The increase in seismic activity would certainly bring these extra things.

I was hearing the sound last fall but it had stopped until this week. Now I'm hearing it about every evening. I don't have the TV on in the evening so that may be why I am hearing it. It is not loud and sounds like it is coming from the north from me here in NE Kansas. It is not constant. I hear it for a while and then nothing and then hear it again. No idea what but I'm not too far from the Madrid fault. You may be right in what you are thinking. I hope not. God bless.

Earthquakes and stressed faults do emit radio frequencies. And there have been reports of audible sounds heard before tremors in the past. I live in an earthquake prone area myself but have never heard theses sounds. However that doesn't mean they don't exist. But these sounds have an almost metallic rhytym to them that is very curious. If these sounds are in fact real..... stay alert people.
