The main argument is againt Universal healthcare (a.k.a. socilaized medicine) is the fact that American citizens will be taxed more than they already are, especially when there is a multi-trillion dollar deficit. Secondly, there is a perception (perhaps a misperception in some eyes) that Americans will recieve poor quality healthcare compared to private insurers. A few folks out there don't want to pay for health for the poor (a.k.a black people).
