  • to me i think god just thought "hey why don't i show these ppl the inside of this twinster as a nice present ".When i first saw this i was like omg so that's what a tornado looks like on the inside.

  • How many times does mike say "I look at this..." lol

  • 9:30 what a beautiful shot

7:50 you can actually see inside of it! amazing!

  • But yes it is a tit 4 tat

  • So glad FINALLY...the Perfect Storm Tornado appeared for Vortex...Kudos to the Creator!

    Thanks for posting!!

  • 7:49 is my favorite part!

  • Agreed. That was just gorgeous. I didn't think it was even possible to see inside the tornado the way that one was captured.

  • I have a friend who said it reminded him of the "yeah, right!" scene in the climax of "Twister". (Yeah, OK, I know, doesn't narrow it down much. ;-) The part where they're inside the vortex and looking up its throat.)

The best part, V2 got full radar and mobile mesonet coverage, it was within 40 miles of Cheyenne NEXRAD for added higher-level coverage, they got full HD video of the entire thing, and of a storm that did just about everything, in a rural area so it did minimal damage!

  • (Continued from above.) The science team sliced, diced, and julienned like a set of Ginsu knives, and they've got data that's gonna take decades to fully dissect. What's more, apparently, they got another storm late Sunday night in Missouri--not as good a storm, but full coverage again.

A month of hurry-up-and-wait due to a lousy pattern, then two beauties in three days, and a very active week ahead to close the season... great way to wrap up the first half!

  • Is that video up?

  • simply amazing.

  • omg 7:49 is amazing!

  • Great footage! Thanks for sharing!

  • 07:30 pic on the right, that motion is just insane! Great catch by the V2 team and weather channel.

07:49 and the next few seconds is probably the coolest looking thing I have ever seen a tornado do
