Heath Pearce is so good. He is our most underrated player. I have seen him play live. He is fast, versatile, athletic, hard working and talented. He should be on the pitch at all times. Failure on the part of Bradley to not play him.

@aplatt65 Wrong. He had an extremely pathetic performance agains the Czech Republic and while he has great potential, he'll need to get playing time at a higher level than he is right now in order to put out performances like this one against teams like England.

that salvador keeper was a MONSTER!!!!.....it really goes to show, if you have a good keeper, it certainly changes the end result...this game could of easily been 4-1....easily.....GREAT KEEPER....

The players who didn't take their chances aren't going to the World Cup anyways with the possible exception of Kljestan and Rogers. I think Davies finishes at least one of the missed chances.

as a USA team they did ok, as a 2nd string performance they did really good, personally dont believe Findley is no were near ready for the WC roaster, the kid is good but he seemedscard under pressure, casey is good but not a starter, ching is great player but might not be able to hold the 90mins, if i was bradley i would choice ching simple for experience. But Hopefully Davis is on the roaster, Rogers is not ready he dosent have the mind set to see wat he should do. hopefully davis can play WC

The fact of the matter is..that el salvador was far less prepared that the usmnt...and thats perfectly alright considering the outcome...the el salvador squad had 2 days to practice and one of those was used to travel to florida..sad thing is..that the country has talent ..not all of their players were there due to prior engagements ..but goes to show how corrupt the country is in soccer..go u.s.a

kljestan shows some good creativity and passion....i love sneaky gols....still, we seem to have so many chances and yet our finishing is still pretty bad....we seem to always create/take chances, but rarely finish...i didn't see ANY of our "fast break" offensive runs that we awsome at...

for the 3rd time in the last 3 USA vs El Salvador matches, the United States gave away the lead cheaply against the run of play to El Salvador, who always choke and have no hope of ever reaching a World Cup someday. USA is the greatest team in CONCACAF! SA 2010! USA is there and so am I!

horrible finishing. pearce looked shockingly good though. i hope this doesn't mean sacha makes the final roster - way too inconsistent touches. he'll have 1 brilliant touch to beat his man and then 1 atrocious one to turn it over. you really need to string together 3 or 4 great touches to beat the top defenses.

I went for El Salvador here, but I am not sastisfied at all at how they played. 2nd US goal completely looked like no one tried there. Including Montes. You can tell he tries more, since he got MVP this game. I can't believe they let US win like that... SLV players are prolly butthurt they couldn't go to SA. :/

Still, good luck to USA. I hope you make it to Quarter Finals or better!

Marvin Gonzales was the player of the game for the U.S. with that childish mistake at the end. I am so sick of watching El Salvador give away games like this. On Ching's header, Gonzales doesn't even tickle him! sheeesh!!

The most entertaining game of football I've watched in a while, could've been ended 5-3, either way it came right down to the wire. Beckerman should definitely be going to South Africa!

Honestly I was a huge Beckerman fan after the Gold Cup this summer but his play for the national team has been lackluster since that tournament. No ticket to SA in my opinion.
