15 ears ago I used to got to schools library and stare at this Vantage in the National Geographic magazine during brakes between the lessons... What a car.
This video encapsulates everything you could ever hope to demonstrate about Clarkson... IN THE WORRRRRLD.
Hilarious similes, hilarious hair, hilarious glasses, denim, crap driving, awesome cars, limitless enthusiasm, and a man thinking he's the coolest thing ever. I heart Clarkson.
@MisterPeetBull Of course, the engine, suspension, brakes, chassis and body have nothing to with how good the car can be. No, it's all down the all American Corvette gearbox, designed and built by German company ZF and bought by GM in bulk. :-P
@shughume That is not the point dummy. They rag on American cars- yet Clarkson falls in love with the ZR1. And by the way, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Good job trying to have an argument on youtube, you sure are tough (on the internet)
@MisterPeetBull Who's having an argument? And how don't I know what I'm talking about? Making general statements without proof or facts isn't a good way to win an argument, if that's what you're doing. My comment was intended as jovial, you've taken it personally. And "falling in love" with one American car doesn't default his opinion that most of the American cars he's driven he hasn't liked. Calm down, buddy.
@shughume LOL, the British can't make a car that will last more than 100K miles. And the US owns or has owned all the car manufacturers in the UK. So talk all the shit you want...and you have bad teeth.
@MisterPeetBull My teeth are actually lovely, my dentist agrees wholeheartedly on this issue. There's plenty of UK built cars that do over 100K miles, I've owned one. Which, incidentally, was never owned by an American company. Away back to your Chrysler Le Baron or Dodge Durango and enjoy the slab faced plastic dash, leaf sprung, live axled, asthmatic engined horror that your US of A is so adept at manufacturing. And you're obese.
@AndyWillow1989 Like what? We like bigger cars, we drive trucks, we like V8's and muscle cars. The ford focus is one very popular car in the UK. What british car do you know that got the whole package right? There is no such thing as a reliable british car.
@MisterPeetBull They don't rag on American cars anymore than any other country. Clarkson, Hammond, and May have all praised American cars in the past.

@MisterPeetBull because americans can get bits of cars right but never seem to get the whole package right, except for the ZR1 now
