  • amazing car go disco 3

  • a defender would do it better

  • you call that off roading???

  • @TheChemicalQuornts as you can see there is no motorway, or any termac road so what is that? OFF ROAD!

isn't it?It is not extreme off road but it is off road....

  • @RovingLandRover

    One word, "beautifully".

I wasted my money on the extended warranty. Touch wood it will continue to be as reliable as it has since the day I bought it. Only fault; leaky windshield but that was a known fault and warranty fixed it by clearing the blocked sunroof drain tube.

    Here's to another 4 years.

  • At 1:40 I realized how steep that hill was!

  • wow!

  • no such thing as a d3? Discovery 3?

  • no such thing as a d3

  • not only is there a D3, There's now a D4...

  • @twowheelsnobrain d3 is short for discovery 3, think about it dude...

  • I only wish the D3 had the spare wheel on the back for that more rugged look.

  • I have driven my 97, ES, V8 petrol Discovery 1 all over Asia. Indonesia to Thailand, China to The Russian border. Other than a few minor things and an overhaul, it has never let me down. So what can I say?

  • so true! i love land rovers! good for you, might do a similar thing with mine (200 td5) :) nice v8 btw!

  • Good for you.

  • That's a load of piss, they make it look so difficult, my 1982 series 3 would fly through that!

  • won smtih jis la por deh sja nas la dik sim lon cap.

  • fuking SUV ... we took it 2 times off roading and 1 of the back Axel's broke and now we are having real bad problems with the hand break

  • me nanan cud do that in a micra !

  • lol i'd love to see u try..

  • only messin lol

  • really ... take any SUV against a land rover and see how it does aight?

  • JA!!! WUNDERSCHON !

  • Haha, da bin i au scho nuffgfahre ;-) Aber mit nem Range Rover. Richtig hammer steiler Berg, des kommt leider net so raus......

  • Thats incredible on road tires. I wonder if anyone has modified one of those for heavier offroading!

  • no one there is no after market parts and that totally sux because land rover accessories are fuking expensive

  • ohhhh my god

    THATS A GREAT TECHNOLOGY CAR

    great video

    great car

    im impressed to

  • Great Vehicle, pretty impressive for road tyres!!

  • doesnt warrant all the swearing.......not necessary.......sign of poor education chaps

  • being smart is over rated

  • The Discovery's a good suv, so what if it can't handle or stop quickly. It might be pig ugly and have a poor reliability record but so what may be you some people want that.

  • Well I am so sorry to dissapoint you but mine handles in an exemplary fashion and stops quicker than I expect it to, especially on snow and ice (common conditions for me). As for reliability, two years on and I still have to find as much as an annoying rattle.

  • In a survey Land Rover and Jag got the 2nd and 3rd worst reliability record. A car for the same price would perform much better on road. SUVs are worse on ice and snow with road tyres than a car.

  • people that buy rovers aren't concerned about reliabilty bcuz they can afford to fix them. ALL offroad vehicles, luxury performance vehicles, & sports cars have horrible reliabilty/depreciation. who cares! i say buy what you want, not what you NEED. u only live once, why settle? Land Rover is the best 4x4 cash can buy period...

  • Are you dumb, its discovery 3

  • yeah but surveys dont mean anything if they are done by some nobody who has nothing better to do than put down an execellent SUV

  • just because it looks bad on paper dosen't mean its bad in real life

  • no im sorry but im in denial, this is still a great vehicle no matter what anyone says

  • Everyone who see's it up close is amazed how quiet the diesel engine is even with the bonnet open. It is more fuel efficient too than my old TD5 which was an unexpected bonus for a car that has a much bigger engine and weighs considerably more.

The silver trim is my mates car and it apparently is the only one in Switzerland but I know you can have it as an "extra" when ordering the car. I think it looks cool but can be prone to scrapes and scratchs being on protuding parts of the car.

  • I GOT VIEW NO. 2000!!!

  • Cool well done and well spotted! Sorry to have to say there is no prize but thanks for watching anyway.

  • hehe, just a little special to be no. 2000 :), nice vid btw

  • ...and from the look of it, all done on road tyres. What brilliant vehicles these are !

  • this is crazy!!! wow...
