My dad owned a DX service station in northern Illinois in the 1960's and whenever Maverick was in the area performing he would bring to my dad's station to service it after the show. It really drew a lot of excitement from the passersby. My mom has a photo album full of LRW photo's that she can't seem to put her hands on. One day I'll find them.
This wheelstander was sold to Rush Limbaugh, who drives it to and from his job as "truth detector", where he exposes left-wing shenanigans for the masses.
He had a run for the Automaniac "Custom Pickup Trucks" some time ago, did quite a good wheelie noting that he's retired indeed. And yep, the LRW was sold some time ago.
