@4everjustinbieber11 err i don't. but I'm not one of those people that "hates" him and rags on people who like him. I'm just not into his music :3 I do repect him though o.O
Music industry today is much like it has been for the last 10 years ( to an extent since it became an Industry) It's easier for people to "make" stars than it is to find them. A company wants the control (profits)
But if you want something other than generic pop it's never been easier to find those groups or individuals. Ive found bands who i'd never had heard of but in doing quick searches have found some really cool music. So, while there's a bunch of crap, there's a lot of good stuff too.
@TinyCanadianLive I'd say just look at whatever is popular (or unpopular) and try to take an alternative stance on it. In other words, disagree with the general public, and be a contrarian. This Rebecca Black video is a good example: Rebecca Black is unpopular, yet you said you don't dislike her or whatever. It's always interesting to hear another side of a story. But yeah, I like your videos so far. The Tool one was especially good.
Yes, free enterprise, and capitalism can do that. People need money to put food on the table of all the company's workers, I can understand that situation, but when money becomes more important than making songs with a good message, then a problem arises. I kind of like how technology has let us modify voices and give them effects because it opens up new creative possibilities, but not when all the songs sound very similar, which is a trend I've experienced lately.
@randomdoodification thank you! :)
