This video is whack! Either the video master isn't very educated or intentionally being misleading. Chavez was definitely overthrown by a puppet regime and they kidnapped Chavez. The People, old, young and middle age fought and marched the streets against the coup to return Chavez back to them. The remaining private forces of Chavez stormed the capital and took back the seat of government, holding the puppet regime until they returned him. It was treason,Chavez didn't kill, but expelled them.

Marxist is a bit of a stretch. Provide evidence Zelaya wanted to extend term limits. Article 239 does NOT refer to changing the Constitution as you express it, it specifically applies to term limits. Also, that "never to return again" stuff isn't in there either. Why do you have a fantasy of a military dictatorship in the U.S.? Democracy not working out for you?

Two mistakes:
1. Art. 239 states that who tries to extend the presidential term must leave office immediately. But the constitution also states that those who try to change the term will be charged for treason. In other words the Hond. pres. if accused of murder does not leaves his post, but if accused of trying to extend the term he must leave office.
2. The armed forces expelled him fearing a mob would try to free him as they took away the seized ballots, and there was going to be bloodshed.

I'm afraid the world's eyes are shut. Article 239 is itself unconstitutional. How can ANY law be declared absolute, beyond ALL legal authority to change or amend or remove it? Its a mockery. But that issue is itself a smokescreen since Zelaya wasn't trying to extend his presidency. A typical GOP distraction ploy -- change the focus to control it. Zelaya is as 'leftist' as my dog -- he was at most a modest reformer seeking to improve the public's quality of life and political participation.
