This one guy once did this with metal spikes and slammed down on the wrong one by mistake and it went straight through his hand. True story.

there was no glass bottle at all , all 4 are fake and flexible plastic. But the first bottle was real glass. when he put his hand in the packet he took the fake plastic bottle and the real one was broken.

I think every bag had a glass bottle under it; that's why he asks the audience member not to touch the bag part.

There might be something on top of the bag to protect his hand

no he just had something noticeable with the bag he put over the glass bottle (a line or a hole or something) and no matter how many times she mixed it he would see the obvious hole... she luckily guessed them all right but what usually happens towards the end is if the person picks the wrong one at last second the magician will switch 'bags' .... pretty easy

Yeah, it was the volunteer he called upon that picked the numbers.

Also, about moving the camera, I wasn't planning originally to put this on the net, so I didn't focus on keeping a continuous shot... However, I think the lack of knowing exactly which one is which adds to the excitement! kinda... =)
