I play a somewhat captain america (when or if I plan on making a new team in umvc. I was looking for a point character for my team, wesker and doom) but yeah I would give you props if you had said Id give you a good fight with the captain. I watch a lot of mvc and practice but ill call myself average even if people mention Im a good player. Im average whose still improving and still learning

@KuraiKoyoyoyama The fuck you talking about. Taskmaster best assist is the horizontal arrows, and no it doesnt suck. Why? Because it doesnt create a juggle but a good amount of stun that has the other chracter still standing. Then a hardknock down with cobra strike theres still enough stun duration for a pick up with wesker. Just because you suck with it doesnt mean it does. Thats your basis on opinion.

@xxCOMBATBEARxx No, I mean it sucks for crossups, in Ultimate, Captain America can do a similar cross up to Weskers light teleport, and catch them if the beam hits, the arrows are easier to block. They're good for extending combos or keeping pressure on your opponent, but not as good for the cross up. And I would say I suck with task master, but he's easy to use. :D

@KuraiKoyoyoyama Yeah hes not to hard to use (taskmaster) but I use the arrows to cross up or cause some pressure on people. Mainly I use Doom for a cross up with wesker. Ryu for his tatsu pick up which has gotten worse as an assist. Leaves very little hit stun now.

The arrows can be easy to block except when there is pressure. Mix up's are the keys for an opening.

@xxCOMBATBEARxx I always used Akuma's tatsu, but that's because I was better with Akuma than I was with Ryu, since the only ryu combo I knew was LMH, RoundHouse, Launcher, air combo air tatsu Shinku Hadouken. like everyone online haha.

Currently running a Frank West, Deadpool, Nemesis team. Frank runs point since I have a relaunch combo that gets him to level 3 using Deadpool's Katana-Rama assist, it's not flashy, but it gets me into Frank GodMode fast. haha.

@KuraiKoyoyoyama Its the most basic and effective for a quick combo. Really the only one when out in mid stage. Rarely I get the corner combos because of push block but when I do, lot of damage. LMH Foward H, backkick for wall bounce, MH launch depending if my wesker is I can level 3 after M, M, H , S pickup level 3. Then relaunch when back down M, M, H, and maybe super if I have the meter. If no level 3 just launch M, M, H, S jump and super down. Depends really.

Captain America, Taskmaster, and Deadpool is my new main team. Sometimes, Cap, Trish, and Taskmaster.

@KuraiKoyoyoyama Yeah, some people do use the Shield too much, but I'm the type who prefers to charge in with an anti-air kick and then lay the groundwork for a combo. I usually have Deadpool to Katana-Rama! them back up into some butt whoopins. Overall though, I can still improve. Couldn't everybody?

@MrJhound4 It's just kind of annoying that people use the shield to start combos so they do it EVERY second or so, It just reminds me of those that dive kick spam with Wolverine or Air S with either Dante or Vergil, relying on one attack for damage...though with Vergil if you don't block it you die...since he's rediculous, I honestly think they should nerf his damage output due to the guys easy combos and tools.

hey i know you dont use him but im trying to get a second opinion on a team that ive been using pretty often. its akuma with hurricane kick assist, ryu with fireball assist, and iron man with repulsor blast. its not common team from what ive seen but since you seem to be so knowledgeable, a video snippet for some tips on playing them would be awesome if its not a huge bit of trouble

To add on to what you were saying about not underestimating people, in some cases the person might be in a tagteam with another player, passing the controller after each match. So if you easily defeat the account once, don't think it will be so easy the next time.

@icewish45 Differing playstyles. If you like to be in someone's face and keeping people intimidated in defense, pick Hulk. If you like mid to long screen lockdown with projectiles, pick Arthur. That's so simple. Those two characters are so diiferent, it's like apples to oranges.
