true this is not a drag boat and they do race around in circles. they are Jersey Speed Skiffs. they normally run 283's if your racing in APBA. or 327's or 350's. a good running boat leaves the last four or five feet in the water when it runs. when the prop is outta the water you are not going any faster. all you must do is lower the plate a little and play with props. i have seen skiffs with about 600hp run perfect it just takes time to do all the work.
