This is very real. The poor guy was filling in for someone who usually does sports (at Ball State Univ). The guy was nervous but the person working the teleprompter completely screwed him by going way too fast so the script didn't match the highlights and he was left on his own. He's doing fine and "boom goes the dynamite" became a new catchphrase.
