The did start out as a Dir en grey cover band so...of course there is an influence there. But Mao to Kyo is only like Kyo to Kiyoharu. Taking influence is not necessarily copying.

cause people dont know any other bands.. Tbh, lots of these visualkei/jrock/whatever bands sound the same to me. Its good though, but they're all quite similar. Dir en grey, Sadie, The GazettE, Deathgaze, UnsraW, -OZ-, Versailles... i can keep going on forever! Again, dont hate, I love jrock but its just all to similar. Just my opinion :)

It's really too bad people compare these bands when they've worked hard to create an identity for themselves. I'm a veteran Dir en Grey fan have been listening to them for years, and the gazette and countless other bands. I can honestly say I can tell the difference between the styles and respect each band for their Identity they've worked so hard to create.
