  • 0:13 pause it janice looks beautiful!

  • Forgot to mention that I want that egg shaped blush brush! Fabulous!!!

  • Oh me, oh my! Love, love, love it!!!!!

  • Wow wow wow wow!!!!!

  • Very very pretty. I'm really liking the contouring blush.

  • very pretty!

  • @superjhae Thank you!

  • Sometimes I think people just go and watch these videos and just put a thumbs down for no reason. They don't realize that we actually take our time and think about what were putting into the vid. But I LOVED it. The colors and how she put it on you. I will have to start doing that again (putting the darker colors closer to the lash line and fading it lighter upwards)!

  • @aeonflux707 Yeah, people can get really mean online. Boo! But thank you for being nice. :) I think it's a cool look too and am definitely playing with it on my own – so nice to have something new to try.

  • wow- there are definitely interesting pieces in this collection- the Rajasthan eyeshadow duo, the blush and the matte lipstick Janice used on you. However, I find the entire look so overpowering- the eyes are gorgeous no doubt, but to have such dark dramatic eyes and then such bight lips with such a contoured blush- almost overdone. The e/s duo also looked very metallic- did you find it made your eyelids look crepey?

You're always gorgeous though Sonja, not a bad look, just a bit overcooked.

  • @glosskitten Hi! The dramatic eyes and lips is definitely more of a glamorous evening look. You can easily tone it down though. The e/s duo can highlight wrinkles if you apply a lot. But I don't have any problem with it as long as I use a light hand. xoxo

  • the matt lips with a touch of gloss is so much prettier than the drooly glossy look- i think sometimes they make us look ugly on purpose so when the next collection comes out it makes us look SO MUCH better we buy it!!!- it all boils down to marketing~!-- great video and i am getting the pink brown blush looks so nice and warm!- always love yoru videos- x shelly

  • @magicadespell56 But I love the drooly gloss look! JK! Thank you, Shelly!

  • oh u´re soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pretty with this look

    i´ll try this look too!

  • this is beautiful!

  • that blush looks amazing on you.

  • I love it. Natural looks a la bobbi brown are great for a daily basis, but what would life be without the occasional use of lime eyeshadow. Thanks for the videos!

  • Hi Sonja, you look very gorgeous with these bright colours! Now I wonder when you are going to have your next Bobbi Brown session with Katrina :-)) (with the new collection) Greetings from Germany

  • I wish I was an heiress and his muse.Love Nars, great to see a Nars tutorial, would like to see more.

  • i like it!!! even though its a different look that we are used to seen on you. Its nice to spice up your makeup! :)

  • I wish I was an heiress and his muse.

  • I LOVE NARS! But why put lip gloss on lipstick you want to be matte?

  • @ginger15 she took it from day (matte) to night (gloss) it's a video so she layered instead of removing and reapplying as she said.

  • I LOVE NARS! But why put lip gloss on lipstick you want to be matte?

  • Love Nars!

  • I love it! Maybe your best look yet! I also like the look of the makeup artist -- looks like she has a bold black liner all around her eye and then that mangrove (?) on her lids. Nice collections!

  • @freebrook Yes, I loved her black liner too, and yes, she was wearing Mangrove on the lid. Great look!

  • @freebrook

I agree. And I much like Janice Daoud. She is a great makeup artist and she's very pleasant to listen to (and beautiful, too). I think she should start her own channel.

  • Very interesting! I was hesitant when she started to put the "Mangrove" color on your inner corner, but I actually really like it!!

  • @CuriousBeautyMakeup I know what you mean! I was hesitant about the color but also liked how it turned out. :)

  • I love this look on you! It's so gorgeous yet seems easy to do and not over the top!

I love how just the application of lipgloss will take it into evening! I think I am going shopping now!!! Thanks for sharing! :-)

  • @123cetaphil Thank you! It's a fun collection and that gloss is great!

  • This makeup artist kiiiiinda looks like Emily Blunt.... except not white, haha.

  • She did a great job. The eye coloring really enhances your brown eyes - they almost seem olive green: really beautiful. I'm going to check out the collection, thanks for the preview!

  • @vidabo Yeah, blues are a great choice for brown eyes. They're very complementary. Thanks for watching!

  • what did she apply the foundation with? and did she use a primer?

  • Wow, this look is dramatic! Pretty and bold.

  • i was really worried with the lime green, but it turned out so so so gorgeous!! i love it!

  • The products look amazing and the names are really inspiring. However, I do not particularly like the look that much... It's sort of all over the place and yeah... I just think that less would have been nicer :) You are still absolutely gorgeous Sonja and thanks soooo much for doing this videos, I love them!

  • @ButterflyWingRose Thank you! It was fun to try something different.

  • Hi Sonja! wow, this is the most dramatic I have seen you! I love that Palladium pencil and the duo's.

  • @neicyk13 Yeah, it was a fun change of pace for me. I totally love that pencil too and the Rajasthan duo is fab.
