Hi. This is merely a tribute to the days of the ESPN USAC Midget races at Ventura Raceway and will not be televised. I made this as a fan to create interest for the race. The Nov 21st race is paying $5000 dollars to win and is a week before Turkey Night so hopefully some of the national guys will bring their dirt cars and come play. It should be the biggest dirt midget race of the year on the west coast!
Reminds me of the good days, when heroes got their start in midgets.
TRC, Gary Howard, Ricky Shelton, Stan Fox, Sleepy Trip, Bobby Boone... the list goes on.
Wonderful video! Gave me chills too. Wish midget & open wheel racing would again become this big as it used to be. Just wondering too - where can I get the music for this video?
