  • Seine Stimme kennt einfach keine schlechten Tage. Vivaldi würde weinen, das ein Mann durch technik seine Stücke singen kann.

  • Thanks for the text. But why do you not credit the musicians?

  • @JSC1401 This channel devotes itself primarily to voices.

  • Countertenor IS a male voice. And Vivaldi wrote most of his works with the castrati in mind so the closest we have is the sopranisti countertenor, hence Jaroussky.

  • @belsamur You are wrong. Of course, Vivaldi had castrati in mind, but they were not all sopranisti. They were alto, mezzo and soprano too which is more rare. And modern REAL countertenors can be alto, mezzo and soprano too. This cantata is written for contralto and specified by Vivaldi like that. But PJ is no CT but just a pop falsettist performing baroque in an "easy to swallow" manner as he voice is absolutely FLAT and he just makes sweet trills.Compare it with great TRUE CT MAX EMANUEL CENCIC

  • i don't like it more....good pitch but i'd prefer male voice for male.....and female voice for female...............

  • Great use of images with the video as usual.

  • I like this link with the Carnival in Venice. Vivaldi, there's a great atmosphere at this time. Thank you Steph for this moment.

  • Never heard Jaroussky live.

    Good voice :)

Hope he will sing this one on the concert in Saint-Petersburg :)

    Great video. Thank you.

  • I enjoyed the music and the video.
