Thank you raphm2000. I loved this series and remember the theme song. However, they must have (eventually) changed the title to just read "The Detectives?" I don't recall seeing the "Captain" in the title until this posting. Which I could see entire episodes.

@jsbach15 It seems every few years they show this series on some minor channel on cable. I've yet to find it when it is showing. lol. I recently found a seller of the series and bought it from him. However the quality was so bad I had to throw it out. It was obviously ripped from some VCR tapes and looked like the series was filmed underwater.

@jsbach15 Theres a law that you cant have a series in syndication while its in regular programing so they either cancel it or change the title like they changed hawaii 5-0 to magarett they canceled combat and replaced it with garisons gorillas [ they should have called it guerillas like guerilla warfare a dirty dozen rip off]

@williamg2552 that was from reruns there is a law that you cant have a show in syndication and prime time at the same time so they changed the name [that shooting at the screen is a simulator shoot dont shoot training they have to make a decision they could have a movie of a kid pulling a toy gun if they shoot him they wont become captain of detectives] .

@lpvcrcd I see from your videos you did a lot of work in 10 years as an extra Who was the most interesting actress/actor and who was the the most cordial actor or actress you met in your days in Hollywood from '53 thru the early 60s

ralphmoratz(dot)com. I stood in for RT for over a year and got to know him very well. In fact he was the most cordial actor of that era. He was always the first actor on the set, bought his lunch in a brown bag and helped any day player who was nervous.
