  • how could you have possibly been a fundamentalist christian when you put yourself in a position where you could have a woman out of wedlock or be a divorce'... sell your crazy version of Christianity somewhere else.

  • I think it is funny how every Atheist denies God with a passion of someone who hates there ex husband... want to pretend he doesn't exist because you hate him. Question becomes why do you hate him

  • For some reason I like your eyeshadow. After hearing this from you, I respect where you are coming from. I am curious what type of cult your grandmother lead. I have a question, or a few. You say you grew up in a Christian home and was really religious. For you, was it more of a religion than a relationship? And how do you know you really believed in God?

  • that cigarette and makeup looks slutty

  • anthropology and biology

  • HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE CURSE GOD KNOWING YOU ARE MORTAL AND AT ANY MOMENT YOU CAN DIE WHICH BY THE TIME YOU RELIZE YOU WERE WRONG YOU WILL BE STARING GOD IN THE FACE AND WHAT WILL YOU SAY TO HIM THEN THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOOD PEOPLE NO ONE IS GOOD SAID CHRIST FOR ONLY THE FATHER YOU WANT CHANGE AND THERE WILL BE BUT WITH PATIENCE YOU WILL SEE HIM FOR IT WOULD BETTER NOT TO HAVE BEEN BRON THEN STRAY AWAY FROM GOD KNOWING HIM JUST REPENT AND FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH GOG BLESS YOU.

  • @frankie19506 Please practice proper grammar...

  • sorry just typing really quick and in reality i don't write as often as i talk sorry for that but hopefully some can decode my words.

  • @frankie19506 because sometimes living isn't quite as simple as just assuming that your mommy or daddy will be waiting when you die. our parents took care of us, and god took care of them. think about that for maybe a fraction of a second.

  • i don't see the point in your statement but yes you are right life is complicated just ask people who suffer with children and have no food on the table who struggle every day to feed their loved ones they yare the one;s with most faith who don't sit there blaming God but instead they fight to keep living with hope that they will see change its the most wealthy countries who curse God the most.

  • For me it was mental illness. I realized my delusions were delusions and that one of them was God.

  • well if you woke up why is the world still the same why are there still people killing and crimes committed all over the world maybe you should go back to sleep and keep on with your dlusions at least that gave you hope.

  • Put that smoke down!

    SSSSSSSSSSSSTOPIT!

  • American History and Religions of the World from the University made me open my eyes as well.

  • so you don't beleive in a "man made bible" according to many but yet they beleive man made theories and explanations when they them se;ves have a brain and have the same capacity of thinking just like you who make scientific statements but yet cannot create a human being or make an earth or space you actually have been more blinded going from man made bible to man made ideas which give no hope but more arrogance.

  • @frankie19506 Reply fail

  • Congratulations on your anaversary of evolving into an athiest, but did you know that cigarrette smoking is immoral? The bible says that vices will kill you. Get yourself checked out for lung, mouth or throat cancer, please. Oh, if you also drink, quit now!

  • @16nowhereman OK, so if you think you don't smoke you wil live like ..forever ??? SHUT THE FUCK UP! THINK for a moment. [I don't smoke, not because I want to live 100 years, because I feel more active]

  • just curious... what happened to my post to Angel ???? :{

  • Angie, I wonder have you ever read/ audiobooked Thomas Paine's The Age of Reason ?

I think this will 'hit home' on your own personal revelations. Ones like you aren't a-theists you are really devine a-ngels true prophets in flesh form.

May you be blessed with every sunrise and sunset in your days.

  • now you deny God but yet say things as blessed and angels how blind is one that denies somthing and then and uses the same form of religion to overthrow what you have denied really this world is getting arker and darker with out Gods light shining upon us.

  • The only offence I take Angie is that I feel that the Bible was written by "RICH" men.

  • @HENJAM48 True, the King James Bible was written by people to the desires of the King. No rich men involved, huh?

  • Thank you for sharing that story, Angie. Powerful. Especially for someone still going through deconversion from being raised in a cult, too. I had a day much like the one you described. It's much like that scene from Truman when his boat hits the wall painted to look like sky, and he realizes for the first time he's been in a cage his whole life.

  • Angie..... i love you. R u on facebook?

  • @TheDannymichels Angie has a problem you see. She's a beautiful woman and us guys tend to get stuck on that, which means she can get her way quite easily most of the time. She rarely meets a challenging guy that would go pass her looks, and who could see her internal beauty, with all her flaws as well, and thus really love her. Guys who fall in love with her, most of the time don't really know her.

  • RIP HITCHENS

  • I don't have an atheism conversion story. While being raised in christian fundamentalism as a child, the indoctrination though, i don't think ever took hold. pure unbelief in the unbelievable came as a gradual process rather than on a date i can remember. But if i had to pick a day though, it would have been on the day i watched my first debate with christopher hitchens and dinesh disusa. I am going to miss that man.

  • @OxbowisaMstie

The biggest "mistake" my parents did was to teach me critical thinking, question authorities and make my own conclutions. Needless to say by the time i was a teenager I had no faith for god whatsoever.

Oh and my father is actually a priest.

  • the fact that your father was a priest does not mean he does or doesn't represent God/Christ for i cannot say i am a crip and hang around with bloods thats how many religios people are they use God/christ name and do the oppositte of what God/christ represent so don't blame God/christ blame the person maybe thats why you rebeled for you so hipocracy in your father or in your religios life.

  • @frankie19506 LOL

  • Great story! :)

  • Alright so you were in a crazy cult but they let you go to a regular college? They couldn't have been that bad then. Or am I understanding something wrong here? I would think a cult would refuse to let their followers go to a regular college and instead just encourage you to stay at home and take care of your family and read the bible and that's it.

  • you gooooo! girl

  • LETS DO A PORN MOVIE BABY

  • I REALYY DONT BELIVE UR SHIT

THEY HAD THE SAME DREAM AT THE SAME TIME AND U SAY IT REALLY HEART LESS

I FEEL SORRY FOR U AND UR KIDS (IF HAVE ANY ) NOT BELIEVING IN ANY THING REALLY MAYBE U SHOULD GET A LIFE AND BE NOT SUCH A BITCH TO ALL THE CHRISTIANS OUT THERE OK GREAT

  • @crzygirlyfun99 great talk for a believer ,you just proved our point. brainwashed person that you are.

  • @tinnmann06 im brain washed really

last time i checked people that are religious are not meant to have antishest friends of hang with people that dont belive in god but funny thing is most of my mates are antishest

im sorry that im a bit PISSED OF With her for what she inbox me abount my family

  • @crzygirlyfun99

Wow, that's really harsh. Non believers don't have lives? You are seriously the most intolerant form of ignorance known to the world. You don't have to believe her but you don't have to judgmentally undermine the significance of her life. You're being a bitch to everyone; just an inconsiderate fool. Typing in all caps, condescending people you don't even know. Who taught you how to treat other people? Hopefully not your parents or your Bible. That's disgusting.

  • @GuitarMannnnnn no my computer was stuffed so eva thing i typed was i caps sorry for that i did mean to have it in caps i got a new key board sorry :)

  • @GuitarMannnnnn

ohh maybe u should she what she inboxed me then u would get where im coming from im sorry if i come on strongly to u but i dont like being called a lier and i dont like when people say stuff about my Family

  • @crzygirlyfun99

I feel sorry for your kids. Having to listen to your hate speech. Seriously, don't waste your time or your mental capacity saying such rubbish: no one has to listen to you... and nobody who is wise will either.

  • @GuitarMannnnnn Funny im 13 im too young for kids and i only speak like this who are a bitch to my family

what i posted was only for her not all no believers :)

  • @crzygirlyfun99

Did she attack your family directly? Or are you just complaining that this video is offensive? What you just said doesn't make any sense at all. Youtube is a public forum. Your comments have no special privilege to harass users free of the expected criticism from appalled bystanders. Too young for kids??? I'm 16, you're a kid. What are you talking about?

  • @GuitarMannnnnn i said im 13 NOT 16

and yea she did u never saw what she inboxed me what eva im sick of this what eva JUST FUCKING LEAVE HER ALONE (this her friend saying this not her)

  • @crzygirlyfun99

That's wonderful. So in that case you should have read the message. I never said she was 16, I said I was 16 because she called me a kid. Don't try to mouth off to me if you don't know what you're talking about. LEAVE ME ALONE (it's so painful to have some thirteen year old's friend go on their Youtube account to bitch at me!) I bet AAT's pm wasn't even offensive.. *sigh* Just shut up... seriously. No one, including myself, needs to listen to you. Leave Youtube.

  • @crzygirlyfun99

    P.S.

What eva what eva I'm sick of u and dis is my frind and not me handling my situaatins.

  • @GuitarMannnnnn holy shit you can't spell

  • Comment removed

  • @BadGroundBand

Lol, I was mocking someone. Don't worry; I can spell hahah.

  • @GuitarMannnnnn Ah, I see, sorry for that then P

  • @BadGroundBand

    Nbd.haha.

  • @Vretielium I have no problem with dying - leaves less responsibility upon you. Doesn't matter what you do with your life, because after a while it won't matter because you won't matter, and nobody will remember you.

    (btw, I'm agnostic, not atheist)

  • she is such a wanker

  • This is the same way that I became an Athiest/Agnostic. I always considered myself a bad Christian because I was always questioning why would god create the snake to entice Adam and Eve, why was an all knowing god surprised when Adam and Eve sinned, and how in the heck could an all powerful god only appear in stories/myths? As I traveled and met people from other religions I began to realize that all cultures created some god myth to explain the world around them. I believe in aliens, not gods.

  • I just love your videos: i think it's great the way you express yourself and actually lot of things you say are very familiar to me. For most of us atheist, the process of dis-believing was pretty much the same (i found it a very interesting fact). Living in a very religion oriented country (Mexico) sometimes makes me feel like an outcast, but videos like yours make me realize there's people out there thinking about the same things i do, and that's pretty amazing. Thanks for sharing!

  • @AngieAntiTheist Generally if you're going to rape someone, you're not married to them. "Do not commit adultery."

  • I am the antiangieantiathiest.. suck a dick bitch!

  • @Colliemang Wow, you're cool now.

  • @johnrcoben Wow, wtf kinda comment is that? ..why am I replying?

  • @Colliemang Slow too?

  • In other words you never studied the prophecies of the book of Daniel, so having little knowledge of the Bible you rejected that which you knew not.

  • You're smart and beautiful! Keep up the great work!

  • why would u be antithesis i personally think its not right not saying its wrong as 1of my mums friend is antithesis but how do u explain all the good thing that happen in the world i can its GOD and i can prove it as my mum got prego with my sister but she died at birth but about 2 years after that my mum get prego with me and mums ANTITHESIS FRIEND and her both had the same dream its was of a little read head girl (ME) holding Jesus hand, they both saw the same thing so how do u explain that??!!

  • @crzygirlyfun99 Cool story, but there are non-supernatural explainations for it. Like, if two people have a vaguely similar dream about Jesus's well known love of children, one or both dreamers might have a poor memory of the dream. If person A describes their dream to person B, person B might create a false memory, beleiving that their dream was more similar to the description than it really was. "Oh yeah, now that I think of it, it WAS a redhead." Look up "confabulation," it happens a lot.

  • @crzygirlyfun99 And the content of the dream itself is vague. If your mom and her friend had met some other redheaded kid, they could have beleived the dream was about that kid, or that it was about your dead sibling. But they met you, so it became a cute, special thing to say the vague dream was about you.

  • You want 2 know stop asking every1 else ,go straight 2 the source :God, I,m not talkin about the BIble. But I can tell from this vid you gunna have a prob with anything that envolves a man having the power over u,

  • @thesoundoftruth1 To you that comment sounded fine. But it sounds like a salem witch trial. Demonic forces, and a pagan/satanic sacrifice? This is funny but mostly a sad reminder that your sense of reality is so skewed, you can't think of the world in real science based ways. It comes down to a "demonic force" ect to explain away things you don't agree with or understand. Shall I give you a torch and robe so you can join the other time travelers from the dark ages?

  • if ur so sure that god isnt real than y dnt u just simply stop talking about him lol. y do u have to be anti something that initself is negative .... cant u simply state ur opinion. not constantly just talk about disproving others opinions. its easy to b critical when u urself rnt presenting any knowlage besides critisizm. lets c who watches u whan ur not hatin on others and their belifes. lol ur just a hater wish u the best but the path to a better u doenst involve hate in any way or antianytin

  • People. Please stop using the bible and other fictional books as if they prove something. I'm going to create my own religion now, write my own book, and see how many followers I can amass while worshipping an invisible sledgehammer in the sky that smashes all who oppose his kool-aid. Later.

  • waking up you find yourself asking...how come I ddint know any of this before? How come no one told me what was out there? I then realized it was because I was prevented from hearing by the adults in my life, adults who thought everything that didnt come from one book was pointless to share with their children. Yes, take care of yourselves, no god is going to do it for you, no matter how much you believe it is true.

  • What about spirituality?

  • The old De-conversion on the college campus bit.

More Christian young adults learn to shed their religious beliefs on a college campus.

  • @metalsusa1 It's usually their first taste of reality.

  • She looks and sounds like she's recording this just minutes after getting high. I'm sure i have many misconceptions about muslims but i've always held them in higher regard that christians because they believe in their fairy tales. The only thing christians believe is that Jesus died so they could continue being evil without being punished.

  • @JojobasWitness Well I wouldn't exactly call it 'evil'. Supposedly Christians today should go by the New Testament; while the Old Testament only tells how everything came to be. But most churches have been using the Old Testament to put fears into other Christians' minds. That practice, is evil. Anywho...things are getting better and better for me since I stopped praying/reading bible/attending church. LOL....

  • @JojobasWitness Same for me. I know how that's like bit by bit. Your world crumbling down on you, seems like many others are turning their backs on you, and you became hopeless, in total distress...suffering. You prayed hard...you PLEADED for God to at least give you a sign...or give you a little nudge so you can get back on your feet....where was God? Where was the so-called brother/sister love of the Christian family? Nowhere to be found. Then I pulled myself together without God-

  • very cool

  • Umri ti kurva. Bok ce te, ti ces gorit za gavol

  • From a young age I seriously knew that religion as we know it had issues... and that at the time 1976 I was too young to know where to get answers ....how ever at this time a family member managed to convert my liberal mother to a Jehovah's Witness that's when all hell broke out and all this crap of this religion seriously affected me...like end of world earth quakes and natural disasters were spoken about highly in this cult, which my opinion is child abuse, it seriously had it affects on me.

  • Anyone who has taken a serious look at history should realize that religions are false, possibly created by true believers but certainly corrupted for population control purposes. I'm not saying there is no god because nobody knows, and anyone claiming to is a lair. None of us KNOW, not the Jews, Christians, Muslims, Atheists...none of us know and fighting over it is retarded. I do know if there is a god he doesn't want you to kill anyone, especially in his name. Easy, don't kill.

  • @IChIDH You have a totally messed up view of what atheism is.

You are right on the don't know part.

Atheists know that we don't know. We are so sure that we don't know.

That we laugh at all the God versions invented by primitive men, if i may add... that knew nothing of science.

There could be something out there, not sure God is a word that fits that something. Ofc there could be nothing.

One one thing i can be sure...

Someone living in a desert 2000 years ago could not know more than i do.

  • @tilemacro My view of atheism is simple, they don't believe there is a god. That's totally messed up? How? "That we laugh at all the God versions invented by primitive men, if i may add... that knew nothing of science." As an agnostic I do the same. I called myself atheist for years, but as I got older I began to FEEL, that's all, just feel, that there is some force greater than man.

  • @IChIDH " I called myself atheist for years, but as I got older I began to FEEL, that's all, just feel, that there is some force greater than man."

What you feel is the same thing theists feel. Science today is where it is becouse we begun seperating what we feel and what are the facts. Peoples feelings and facts some times dont agree.

When someone asked Carl Sagan what his gut feeling was about the existence of alien ... he answered,

"I prefer not to think with my stomach. ...

  • @tilemacro What is a fact? Something somebody told you? In this world of information overload and corporate greed there is a study that disproves every study. If I say water is wet some group will do a study that says it's not really wet, it just appears that way. I think it takes a blend of both, feeling and science. That's what humans do, feel. You can think and feel at the same time, they are not mutually exclusive. If I pour water on my arm I feel it's wet, I don't have to be told.

  • @IChIDH People feel they can fly.

Facts like gravity disagree with them they die.

  • @tilemacro lol, never had that feeling...if I lean over the edge of a tall building my senses tell me I will fall to the bottom. You ever had the feeling someone was watching you, look up, and catch someone staring? Humans are advanced sensory probes, we use our senses to feel our environment, then we use our logic to make sense of and interpret it. Science is an extension of this. But without the feeling, there would be nothing to analyze, just a world we couldn't experience.

  • @IChIDH For every time you feel someone, and turn to see them watch you. You turn your head 100 times and none is watching you.

The human brain is very easily deceived thats why stage magician tricks seem and feel real.

And thats why no magician can do a trick under the watchful eye of science.

As for the feelings you get about a creator.

What exactly does a creator explain? Who created him ? and him ? and him ? and him ? and him ?

It just pushes the question back.

  • @tilemacro True, the mind can be tricked, and it can trick itself. But a mind free of thought for more than a few min, 100% conscious of his surroundings is a thing that can't be measured by science. The body can observe so much information simultaneously the mind has to screen most of it out to make any sense of it at all. As for the feeling of God, I never said he was the creator, that's more of a linear religious idea. It's more like God is life, the eternal moment we exist in.

  • @IChIDH Science can measure everything. including the operations of your brain. When we don't know something we don't need to invent supernatural effects to explain it. It will be explained at some latter date by science.

You don't have to use the word God for what you try to explain. the words nature, universe, life, explain it better.

God is something specific, its a human formed superman who created the universe. For the last 7000 years.every god has been connected with a humanoid image.

  • @tilemacro Science can't measure everything. Someday maybe, and maybe not. We can measure when a thought takes place, how it takes place, but we can't measure how it's made sense of, we can't measure consciousness. There's also been sun worship, moon, fish, tree, wind. Have you ever been very calm and your perception flex's a little...spaces between objects seem to vanish and everything seems like one whole? The whole universe trillions of cells working together like the human body?

  • ignore the haters, i get them all the time, some make me laugh, some make me angry,. but you realise in the end its because they are frightened of the truth. keep it up with the videos.

    science bless you ;)

  • Shes cute! Quite smoochable! Rock on independent free thinker chick!

  • I'm sorry you feel your life journey is so much different from everyone else. We all have to take the journey for ourselves. Each of us must discover the truth for ourselves. We can't makes others think the way we do. In that way we are all quite similar. Interestingly the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Your own active "anti-theist" sounds so much like your grandmother to be eerily spooky. Caution: Leaders often have a hard time admitting when they're wrong. Be Blessed!

  • OMG, please quit smoking. That is my only advice to you; otherwise you seem to be taking charge of your life and doing well.

  • @wspol624

Angie, the whole "goo-to-you" premise is ridiculous. You aren't a glorified frog puffing on a cigarette. Come on, do you really attribute your existence now to time and chance? Deep in your heart I know you do not accept that premise. At least, that's my guess. I hope you eventually wring out all that anger you have in your heart and truly cry out to the One who gave you life. He's waiting.

  • Comment removed

  • @wspol624

Listen, you are clearly ignorant of both muslim and Christian theology. Only Christianity is a grace based theology. All other religious movements propagate a works base soteriology (man saving himself via good deeds, etc.). Christ is God's remedy for sinful man. It's all about God saving man, not man saving himself. This is what makes Christianity distinct from all other FALSE religions, including Islam.

  • @wspol624

No they don't. Nice try. And you ought to quit smoking. It's bad for you health, the health of others, and a big waste of money. But I dont expect you really care, given that you trace your origin back to time and chance. How sad. The good news is that it's not too late to repent and acknowledge the one who made all things.

  • ur hot

  • @JojobasWitness

It wasn't science, you were just using common sense. One has deny an ability to reason, to continue blindly believing every thing bad is our fault and every thing good is God's doing.

How is the Japanese Earthquake a good thing, is it not an 'Act of God'?

  • I'm not trying to burst your bubble or criticize you just because you don't believe what I do, but I can even tell why the way you talk you have a sense of dominance, superiority, arrogance, something forceful you want to portray. I know this because I used to talk with the same tone as you did for the same reason. Want my advice? Smoke some DMT, it'll change your fucking life. If you don't know what that is, look it up. Shit's the bees knees.

  • Angie has rejected the premise of God. She is now without a sure foundation. She's now just the product of time and chance, just one of those "talking" animals. Yup, when she expires (if she keeps smoking, it might be sooner than later) she will lapse forever into non-existence. She now spends her time condemning what, ironically, her evolutionary worldview has produced. Shouldn't she be upset with mother nature for producing all this bogus religion she now despises?

    See Hebrews 9:27

  • It all comes down to WHO is the true and living God? When a proper determination is made, only then can one discern right from wrong, truth from error, etc.

Years ago a group of men were discussing what distinquishes Christianity from ALL other religions in the world. One man stepped forward wtih the answer. He said it was/is GRACE. He was right. Christianity is a God saving man, not man saving himself.

    Ephesians 2:8-9

  • Angie: Although I still am studying religion and wondering what the truth is, I totally understand where you are coming from. I have been down your same path inch for inch, but I have also seen how rejection of basic biblical laws have turned the world into a cesspool. The laws of morality for one. I sympathize with your views totally.

  • @1966Daywalker Basic Biblical laws were often barbaric, misogynistic, and utterly unjust. I think we (you, me, society as a whole) can do a lot better than the moral laws of the Bible. (If I was going to write a Ten Commandments, I wouldn't make the mistake of leaving "Don't rape" off the list.)

  • @AngieAntiTheist "Love thy neighbor as thyself". Has this great commandment not included "Dont rape". Yea, it doesn't stop there but it sums up the whole law. Young lady i exhort you, be not deceived. "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God" Psalms 14:1. "The fear of God is the beginnig od wisdom". Jesus Christ is Lord. Born of a virgin for he abhorred not her womb. Died on the cross for the sins of You and I. Raised from the dead by his own power. Coming back again! Repent and Believe

  • @AngieAntiTheist 'If I was going to write a Ten Commandments, I wouldn't make the mistake of leaving "Don't rape" off the list.' ... There are 613 laws in the Torah, rape is dealt with. It would seem that your atheism is based on faulty information and religious frauds. YHVH (the Creator) is not about religion, but about life. The Torah tells us to choose life, it says nothing of religion. It also seems you are using YouTube as your personal psychiatrist. Something wrong here, wrong indeed.

  • @AngieAntiTheist - in other words we need more STDs.

  • @AngieAntiTheist i completely agree with you, but i would like to add one thing. i don't "think" we can do better, i "know" we can because it is evident today. we don't stone kids, we don't punish rape victims by making them marry their rapist, we don't consider women property, and we don't condone slavery. we've come a long way, NOT because we held onto the teachings of the bible, but because we rejected key laws advocated by it. our secular laws are more moral...maybe i'm idealistic lol

  • @AngieAntiTheist I listen to your videos and I think what I hear more than anything is the bitter pill of reality more than an actual lack of belief. I hear what sounds like an amazing woman that is in a nearly impossible situation and then finds herself face to face with the worst nightmare: it's all been a lie. But what if God was nothing like what people are TOLD He is? What if the Bible got a LOT of stuff wrong and we KNEW for certain it did? Would you stay atheist or would you look closer?

  • What did you wake up from was it blowing your husband..

  • Why are atheist chicks always so frickin' hot?

  • Straight up-> You have a smart head on your shoulders....You have figured out the biggest lie on earth..Well done. Now, quit that stupid ass smoking. You look like a jack ass.

  • By the way I liked your story. It kinda reminds me of my awakening experience. Also I enjoyed your response video to rational responder. I met him in person when I was an open air preacher and he seams like a pretty nice guy.

  • @JojobasWitness I'm glad you got out of that middle ground. Science is astonishingly beautiful, isn't it? No one ever told me how beautiful it was till I lost god.

  • @CecilLudvich My son is 5, and currently playing with toys. I killed no poor baby, but I DID prevent my son who I adore from being abused & neglected in the US foster care system, by having a life-saving abortion.

Since you'll never be invited to my house, how clean or messy it may be is none of your concern. What a strange, hateful person you are.

  • @AngieAntiTheist Shut up you devil, anti-christ abomination, go on Mars and leave earth alone you oxygen thief...

  • @AngieAntiTheist Angie your reply owned him in total annihilation without a single profanity/personal remark. Brilliant.

  • "I googled my grandmothers name, and I found out she is a cult leader"

That's tragic enough to be an allusion to Star Wars: "Luke, I am your father."

I enjoyed your story, thank you for sharing.

  • Have you ever read the book, The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. You say there are good people. According to what standard. Man's opinions are shifting sand but God's Standard of Holiness gives us a problem of sin which Muslims,Jews, and Christians have different solutions. It's not about, "Feelings." It's about truth. Jesus Christ provides assured salvation by his finished work.

  • I just stumbled upon you Angie and I truly fell in love with you...Keep being who you are..

  • it's strange to me as an apostolic christian, that whenever people in cults or different denominations, use practices as a way to make yourself more "christlike" (when my belief is that only God in your own walk with him can make you christlike) and that leads to people questioning other religions as well as their own, and the bible tells you how to be saved yet some churches use false teachings, and take church into their own hands and it leads some religion/church to become a so called "cult"

  • @thechadman1X Let me be clear, when I use the word "cult" I am referring to a high-demand group with undue influence over its members lives, and serious impediments to leaving the group. This may have nothing to do with the teachings of that group. While most cults we think of are religious (Jehovah's Witness, Scientology, LDS, Heaven's Gate, People's Temple, etc.c) there are also non-religious cults and cults that pretend not to be religious but really are (12 step groups.) Cult != heretical

  • @thechadman1X Hey slick Christianity is a CULT it started out with 12 men following a man around named Jesus and the whole frigging thing has got out of hand now. That is of course if U belive in Jesus.

  • Religion has a function but not in modern society. Religion likely evolved as a bond to a tribal group identity and was probably best suited to past tribal settings.

  • If a parent wants their children to go in the right path then they must teach them about Islam.

  • @Theboxer500 I agree. A good way to help them understand that Islam is a scam, you have to explain it to them as it is.

  • @WarriorCho Yes, self delusion can be very powerful. Without it, I doubt we'd still have pervasive religious faith today.

  • @AngieAntiTheist I would go so far as to say that faith isn't the substance of things hoped for, as Paul taught, but faith is the substance of delusion, it is confusing what one "really really believes" with "what they know".

  • @WarriorCho

i dont quite get how after watching such a vid you can still be such a dick

  • @WarriorCho so what millions of people love her too so what? god is fake ,she just tells the truth

  • What bothers me is to constantly hear so many people proudly claiming to pray or otherwise be delusional. Just listen to what you hear coming from the religious around you, or even people talking on TV. I recently heard a person at work state that they had a personal relationship with the lord. In my opinion, that is delusional and dangerous. Religion = deluded + manipulated + controlled. Good for you for seeing through the comfortable numbness.

  • people always forget: when you say I belive that means that you don't know. Religion is always about what you belive and never about what you (can) know and belief may be wrong. That's the point: we don't know if what we belive is right or wrong

  • I would have to disagree with you. I believe that there is a possibility of life on another planet. I believe that there are neurons firing in my brain guiding me to right this message. I've never seen these things but I've seen evidence provided by science. Religion is different in that it isn't just belief, it's far more detached than that. Religion includes FAITH. Faith is believing on the lowest part of the scale. Faith is believing without any reason to believe.

  • @Harrymfink well, one day we may be able to prove that there is extraterresstrial live and then we no longer have to belive it. But theists will never be able to prove without a doubt that there is a God. You will always have to belive that there is a God - or not. And I didn't say, everything we belive is wrong. I only said the possibility is there, that bellif is wrong. And I don't see any difference between faith and belief. Maybe bacause I'm no native English speaker

  • @Mamaki1987 Think of it as a scale. Truth would be at the top of the scale, then you would have varying levels of belief (such as the examples I stated before), and lastly you would have faith at the very bottom. Faith and belief are NOT interchangeable for future reference.

  • @Harrymfink faith or belief, when it comes to God you can never say: I know that there's a God, you can only assume it. Bacause there is no prove whatsoever. And as long as there is no scientific prove at all, no matter if you call it faith or belief, what you think might be wrong. So I don't see, how faith and belief are not interchangeable, because both imply you trust in something you don't know and thus faith and belief have nothing to do with truth, only with assumtion

  • @Mamaki1987 Faith is trusting in something that doesn't have any reason, evidence, or logic behind it and yet you still have faith in it. Belief has a variety of different strengths based on FACTUAL EVIDENCE, AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. I know 1+1=2 which makes it true, I believe Evolution works because of the countless evidence in support, but based on the small time frame of human existence I'll never see evolution (except for small insects or plants possibly)

  • @Harrymfink but when you have evidence you don't have to believe anymore and you don't need faith, because when you have prove, you KNOW that something is true ...

  • @Mamaki1987 Yes, but some things have the possibily of being subject to change, which is why I might prefer to say I believe that something will happen instead of I know it for a fact it will happen. For example, I believe based on passed experience that the stop light will turn green and let me proceed but I dont know for a fact that it will happen.

  • @Harrymfink I think there is a difference between being sure that the traffic light will turn green sooner or later and believing in a religion ...

  • @Mamaki1987 Thats my point!!! Religion requires FAITH. So using the same traffic light analogy- If I stopped at a traffic light that I knew wasn't working at all, I would have to have FAITH (and be a total moron) to think that it would turn green, because there is no logical reason to think that it ever would.

  • @Harrymfink Right ...

  • Well does that make sense or not? There is truth then there are varying levels of belief and finally faith.

  • @Harrymfink Nevertheless, I find it quite odd, that people can even think, their religion is the only right one and that with quite dubious "prove"

  • Agreed. And for future reference its "proof". You prove something with proof. I'm not trying to be an asshole, just helping you out.

  • @Harrymfink that's ok, thanks, actually I should have known it ...

  • ehh whatever.. Cheers to you for being bilingual. I find that to be a very admirble skill.

  • @Harrymfink yes it's handy, but in Europe, they don't give you much of a choice ... and speaking a foreign language unfortunally doesn't mean you also understand the culture ...

  • Terrific!

I grew up in a non-religious home feeling like the whole world was dangerously bat-shit crazy. Finding grownups willing to speak out the way you have was not easy. You're a very good role model. Keep it up. Kids need to hear you. - Warm regards. :)

  • @JamesTHWilliams

You're obviously not reading/following the threads.

At any rate your free to believe whatever you choose... I see where the anti God mentality has gotten our country and the world.

  • @MsTheresaKelly1 Ah yes, because in a country with "in god we trust" on the money & "one nation under god" heretically inserted into our pledge, with 99% of our elected politicians claiming allegiance to the same god, we are so clearly and obviously "anti God" in our mentality. Take off the freaking mind-control glasses & look at the world around you. If God exists, he can surely fend for himself, can't he?

  • I love you Angie. You are awesome. Don't let the naysayers get you down.

  • Ashamed as I am for commenting on your video before I finish watching it, I think it's great to hear the strories of many YouTubers about their faith, how they became atheists or how the became believers ;D

    Keep it up!

  • You were seduced by the evil muslims kekekeke ;P.

  • @Indeedmyfriend

My Son, an unbeliever until 7 years ago. God working through me in a dream revealed something that My son had hidden and even in his thoughts said, "if God is speaking to my mom he might reveal what I'm doing to her in a dream,NAaa God isn't speaking. Guess what, God did and it forever changed my Son. Be careful what you pray for :0)

  • @Indeedmyfriend I can relate to what you said. Have you ever read the book This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti? It's a total thriller, can't put it down until you fish reading type of book. The book gave me a pardigm shift as to my perceptions.
