@peecee1384 Yeah, but there was also a whole episode on it. As someone who has made CCs, I can say their drawings show the geometry points and you can notice the circles in in the center of it where made first (for future measurements). If it was made naturally, the entire formations lay should "flow", not have "cut" in circles in the centers. Plus theres like only 1 photo of it, and it's always the "known to be man made for tv shows" crop circles that never get photographed.

@2xCindy The number 5040 has nothing to do with the moon. It's the sum of the moon and earth radius when measured in miles. (actually, that would be 5036.2 miles). And the earth's diameter is 7913.1 miles. So you've mixed up the data, and even then they're off. And how do you get from 1296 (or MCCXCVI) to 'Goddess of all creation?' I wouldn't even call this coincidence. Maybe if all the numbers were right it could be called coincidence. Now it's just nonsense.

Oh yes I'm serious!! So I had a wee garden box in the courtyard of our residence and grew tomatoes and cukes and herbs. The last two years I had to actually "husband" my plants with a paint brush to transfer pollen. Why? Because the bees had disappeared.

If the latter, have the Dutch Police arrested anyone for trespass and malicious damage? My short investigation suggests many are skeptical of this claim. Technically, you're right. This video doesn't prove a thing. In that sense it's like a wikipedia article. Anyone could have made it up. But it does something else. It provides you with a means to actually check the facts.

But how much proof do you need? Do you need a video of every single action involved in building a skyscraper in order to convince yourself that it was man-made? The fact that all skyscrapers of which we know who made them, have human creators should tell you that it's very likely that...

The only ones of which we know for sure who created them are man-made, and there's no good evidence that shows that any of them are of ET origin. I'm saying that the crop circle makers that risk publicity might be smart enough to ask the land owners for permission. It's probably not hard to find people who are willing to have a tourist attraction in their fields.

But that fact that you cannot proof something conclusively doesn't make it useful to assume random stuff. Gravity can also not be proven conclusively. That doesn't make it useful to predict that it will stop working.

The same formations have appeared in crops after rain with no evidence of construction ie. no damage to the centre of the formation. How do you make a circle in a wheat crop without damaging the centre of the crop? Look up Crooked Soley formation of August 2002 and explain to me how it was done.

It involves creating a square and a circle whose perimeters are equal. This is in fact impossible to achieve with 100% accuracy due to the impossibility of constructing the irrational number pi. Elegant new solutions to the problem have been discovered within crop circles.

@peecee1384 Your knowledge of maths is off. It is theoretically possible to do that with 100% accuracy, but the dimensions wouldn't be rational numbers. By no means is it impossible to construct something with irrational dimensions. The only reason why you couldn't do this perfectly is that matter isn't continuous. You can't be more precise than a single atom.
But nevertheless, I'd like to see pictures of these elegant solutions.

@peecee1384 Yeah, but there was also a whole episode on it. As someone who has made CCs, I can say their drawings show the geometry points and you can notice the circles in in the center of it where made first (for future measurements). If it was made naturally, the entire formations lay should "flow", not have "cut" in circles in the centers. Plus theres like only 1 photo of it, and it's always the "known to be man made for tv shows" crop circles that never get photographed.

@2xCindy The number 5040 has nothing to do with the moon. It's the sum of the moon and earth radius when measured in miles. (actually, that would be 5036.2 miles). And the earth's diameter is 7913.1 miles. So you've mixed up the data, and even then they're off. And how do you get from 1296 (or MCCXCVI) to 'Goddess of all creation?' I wouldn't even call this coincidence. Maybe if all the numbers were right it could be called coincidence. Now it's just nonsense.

The human butterfly represents our spiritual evolution for only in the spirit can man be truly free. As I see more crop circles, I feel intuitively the meaning of the messages of whoever are creating these circles. Some are portentous while others are uplifting. Their origin is apparently foreign to humankind with the exception of some hoaxes made by some insecure individuals who like to call attention to themselves.

If the latter, have the Dutch Police arrested anyone for trespass and malicious damage? My short investigation suggests many are skeptical of this claim. Not everyone who claims to be responsible for something is automatically to be trusted. I will investigate further.

@peecee1384 In the video they say that they're trying to be quiet in order to not be detected. That's probably why there's no aerial vision. They're trying to make it appear like it's made by ET's.
Technically, you're right. This video doesn't prove a thing. In that sense it's like a wikipedia article. Anyone could have made it up. But it does something else. It provides you with a means to actually check the facts.

5. How do human circlemakers enter restricted military zones where formations have been found?

The only ones of which we know for sure who created them are man-made, and there's no good evidence that shows that any of them are of ET origin. So by default, the assumption should be that a crop circle is man-made. We shouldn't even be having this discussion. It's completely ass-backwards. How much proof do you need to believe that you're not a brain in a vat? Or that your house was man-made? Live in reality man.

But that fact that you cannot proof something conclusively doesn't make it useful to assume random stuff. Gravity can also not be proven conclusively. That doesn't make it useful to predict that it will stop working.

The same formations have appeared in crops after rain with no evidence of construction ie. no damage to the centre of the formation. How do you make a circle in a wheat crop without damaging the centre of the crop? Look up Crooked Soley formation of August 2002 and explain to me how it was done.

@WilbertK13 Have you heard of the mathematical problem known as "squaring the circle" which puzzled mathematicians for over 2000 years? It involves creating a square and a circle whose perimeters are equal. This is in fact impossible to achieve with 100% accuracy due to the impossibility of constructing the irrational number pi. Elegant new solutions to the problem have been discovered within crop circles.
Your human circle-maker friends must be mathematical geniuses!

@peecee1384 Your knowledge of maths is off. It is theoretically possible to do that with 100% accuracy, but the dimensions wouldn't be rational numbers. By no means is it impossible to construct something with irrational dimensions. The only reason why you couldn't do this perfectly is that matter isn't continuous. You can't be more precise than a single atom.
But nevertheless, I'd like to see pictures of these elegant solutions.

@peecee1384 This one I am interested in. I've been able to find lots of pictures of crop circles with examples of 'squaring the circle' in them. But as I understand the problem, squaring the circle with a compass and straightedge is not just a challenge, it's fundamentally impossible. If that could be shown to be possible, pi would be shown to be a rational number. So that would be fundamentally new maths. I'd like to see such an example. Could you point me to one?

And since the owner of the field was in on this, and was able to harvest the crops anyway it's not vandalism, and the makers aren't criminals.
