stumbled accross The Verve watching a music tv channel and had them at Glastonbury playing Lucky Man, which I had never heard before, nor the band for that matter. Drinking many beers, I totally rocked out to these guys!! Great find. This lead singer is awesome. Love the attitude, and these words I can actually relate to. Hope others get to know this band by accident like I did. I hope to see you live anytime you come close!

He allegedly isn't all that keen on playing guitar, although when people called him into question as he doesn't play traditional solos the Verve did 'Echo Bass' and pissed on that notion good and proper. He's amazing.
