I was doing well with this video until near the end when you said maybe things went badly because I was not surrendering and was having bad thoughts. I'm sure you couldn't have meant those words for a sexually abused child, but that's the wound I'm trying to heal and those words hurt.

@twisstedsister9 As someone with a traumatic past and an EFT user both professionally and personally, may I suggest that you tap for the feelings that came up when you heard those words that triggered pain in you. As well you could, if you so chose, to reframe the meaning you gave those words. The bad thoughts could be thoughts that do not serve you, that hurt you in some way. Try tapping for "something tells me to feel bad about having bad thoughts'' and see what you can release. Goodluck C

@twisstedsister9 I share your background of sexual abuse and understand your response. However after many years of healing, growth and helping others heal, I understand that the impact of any abuse, including sexual abuse, is not just in whatever happened, but in how we interpreted the experience. Most children experiencing abuse will assume that it has something to do with them...that they somehow deserved the abuse, for example. That is a misinterpretation, our own belief that we can change.

@skdkskdk When people have been frightened out of their natural instinct to cry, as you seem to have been, they bury their wounds and usually don't get around to healing them. Then they have a strong tendency to stop themselves & others from crying, "bellyacheing", whining, venting - when these behaviors could be the means of releasing toxic feelings from emotional wounds and thus letting them heal. I hope you will also find ways to heal or be healed. Brad 's videos are here to help do that.

I'm sure that he is not meaning that you or anyone deserves the actions that are hurtful that come from others; however, a way to surrender is to come to peace by knowing that it was NOT your fault of your lack of surrender in the time that that bad think happened but now you have the power of forgiveness by surrendering to the power of knowing that you have the power of surrender in order to let the past. I walked seven miles yesterday to our local Co-Operative shop for brown ale. The assistant informed me that she had only just sold the very last bottle. I was peeved and a little anxious but I did not let this get me down - I sat on a Calor Gas canister and tapped God for a while. Lo and behold! Tiptoe MacCall, who had bought the last bottle, was pished and staggered into the path of a Land Rover on the road outside. His brown ale was now mine and, verily, I was joyous.

@Dafodel3 Winning the lottery is just one way to allow the unlimited abundance God has for us. The extent to which we can clear our blocks to abundance is the extent to which we can allow it to show up. Ask yourself why you couldn't or shouldn't have the money - by winning or whatever means - and start tapping those reasons away.

Thanks for such a powerful sharing. Not surrendering has been a huge obstacle for me most of my life. I can still remember a powerful meditation I had years ago, when the Holy Spirit advised me that the greatest sin was believing that "God would no provide" and that all sin stemmed from that wrong thinking. Jackeeturks, i totally agree with you! The same is happening in the UK too! It's OK to believe in God and to stand up for that belief and not be ashamed of that or worried about what others who don't believe in God might think. Nowadays it's like we have to apologise if we believe in God and if you believe in Jesus then WOOOHH; you better not say that name or you'll cause a "religious controversy". Please just say God...Not whoever others may think God is...Why is it that we who believe in GOD, feel that we have to bow down to what others think or believe to be politically correct? They don't bow down to us. America built it's foundation in "In God We Trust" Now we are even being forced to say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" on Christmas...No ones denying the other Religious Holidays but, it is what it is. I grew up saying Merry CHRISTmas...We have FREEDOM of speech as well.

this is a awesome video. I just got in a situation in what I don't want to be and I did ask myself "how can got let this happen if he really is there". I have/had a lot of doubts but this video makes me feel safe! i did it today the first time but I feel safe in gods hands and I can honestly say " It will be allright"
