  • @HanzoTh3Razor Thanks! Yeah, I guess some folks just don't geddit...if it's over 2 minutes their gnat-like attention spans can't handle it. :P

  • cool vid yo, you mentioned the matrix and i must say that out of the three merilyn manso,s song ''rock is dead was in the first movie in the credits and as of the drag me to hel i saw it wen it was in theaters and was the only one claping lol and i just had to see it again

  • I'm not kidding you I saw this movie for the first time in a movie theater alone at 4:00am

  • OMG your guyz review takes FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @011722615 No, it takes 17 minutes and 59 seconds. I've done reviews of other films that are much longer, some requiring multiple parts. There is also an "ADD Cut" of this review if the full length version is too much for your attention span. It should be in the video responses or related videos.

  • @Zaranyzerak Well Okay, don't need to get Snippy, I actually enjoy yo reviews very much, its just sometimes i find that while u r reviewing, u tend to drift off and Talk about other things and then com back, and for viewer its a little disorientating. and i just find that u also take a long time to really express your overall opinions about the film which can be hard for someone like me who usually wants advice on weather not to watch particular film, but watever, its your videos do wat u want!

  • @011722615 That's just my reviewing style. In addition to talking about the movie, I intersperse my own personal experiences and related anecdotes to the overall review, making it more personal - like we're just hanging out talking about movies, rather then it being a "standard" review format. I see it as giving the viewer "added value," and that's actually the main reason most of my regulars enjoy my reviews - because they're different from the typical style you normally see.

  • I think I agreed with almost everything that you guys said on this movie. I loved it and give it an 8 outta 10.

  • THAT JUST WASTED 2 MINUTES OF MY FUCKING LIFE.

I WAS EXPECTING TO SEE PART OF THE MOVIE. GOSH...

  • @mrsxxkillercookiexx Buy the DVD if you want to see the movie, duh. The title, description and thumbnails make it pretty obvious what this video is.

  • @Zaranyzerak No, actually the title tells me something different FYI.

  • @mrsxxkillercookiexx "Drag Me To Hell Movie Review (Full-Length Version)" How exactly does that title suggest or even vaguely imply it is going to be part of the movie? And if the TITLE didn't make it clear enough, it should be completely obvious from the THUMBNAIL and DESCRIPTION that it isn't what you thought it was. Learn to use YouTube. It's not hard.

  • @mrsxxkillercookiexx Notice the word REVIEW plopped nicely in the middle there? Say it with me, REVIEW. REVIEW.

  • love your video

  • It dragged me to hell on how..... awful it was and i had to watch to the end cause i was like come on it's going to get better.......... but nope......... oh man....

  • @SilverStateMan Quite happy actually, jackass.

  • @Zaranyzerak

Spiderman 1 and 2 were good. Spiderman 3 had to many things that were wrong with it including our our 2 massive contininuity errors in it. The previous films had them to but they were more minor thing like. Peter parker thought green goblins the doc oc instead of the other way around like it was in the comic. But the third movie OMG. Marry jane was a bitch. Eddie brock was not supposed to die.

  • @Zaranyzerak

Normans son I belive was supposed to become the hob goblin not a skinner version of the original green goblin. Don't even get me started about the whole fuck up in ultimate when they made green goblins good and peter and eddie brock were best friends. The worst fuck up had to be drum roll. Queen stacey beeing in the bloody movie she was supposed to be dating peter before merry jane and spider accidental

  • @Zaranyzerak

killed here trying t o save here from the green goblin. I'm in a bit of a bad movie. they increased my itenet bill by four blood dollars so I have to leave the house for work tommorw in and extra 20 to hour earlier for the rest of the week till I get paid again to compesate for that. It was normal a 104$ bill it was over 108$ I hate being austic sometimes. My mons wanting me to improve at my current

  • @Zaranyzerak

job so I don't have to get a second one so I can work when the boss is not t here but because my mother been have me go to bed earlier then I was used to and due to med changes the boss won't let me do Tuesday and Thursday because I'm bloody spacing out to much and have to do to much over time to make up some day. I supposed to only got till sometime between 3 and 3 :45 normally.

  • Hi, we're currently making a review about this film ourselves and wanted to reference other fan reactions, and this is one of the only reviews we found pleasant and insightful. Just wondering if we have permission to use some footage or possibly just a link to the review promoting you two?

Either way, great review and very insightful.

  • Actually I prefer movies of the 70's, 80's and 90's. The Decade 2000-09 was very weak BUT it had decent horror films (Wrong Turn, Cabin Fever, Switchblade Romance aka High Tension, Wilderness, The Descent, Tamara, Orphan, House of Wax, Reeker, The Ruins, Splinter, Terminal Invasion, Kill Theory etc)

Drag Me To Hell was too short but still very cool film. Alison Lohman showed great acting and Lorna Raver was stunning as Sylvia Ganush.

    I really love this movie

  • hope he makes more horror.. kinda tired of spiderman.. i want hiom to explor the genre further. that would rule.

  • this is the worst horrer movie iv ever seen. i dont see why you would like the 'jump out of your seat scares'. i dont think there fun i find them stressful, irritating and plain offensive. watching drag me to hell was a horrible experience, i wish i had never seen it. it damaged me. i hate all the characters, especially the fagot from the mac vs pc commercials.

ZERO FUCKING STARS FROM ME. ANY MOVIE IS BETTER THAN THAT CHEAP PIECE OF GARBAGE.

this fucking movie is worse than GI JO

  • @pinkdog1992 Sam Raimi has a particular style about his movies that I happen to love. They are horror COMEDIES, not meant to be taken so seriously. If you don't like his other horror films, chances are you wouldn't like this one either. Plus if you find "jump out of your seat scares" so stressful, then maybe horror is a genre you should just stay away from in general, since it's one of the staples of those types of movies...

  • The possessed guy at the end in my opinion looked a bit like a pig. haha.

  • Australians says "Zed" also :)

  • there are two cgi parts. when people are dragged to hell and the possesed goat

  • There was a blood spray that was CG as well. Pretty sure the goat was an animatronic puppet.

  • the bloody nose was actually fake blood if that was what you were thinking of

  • No, not that part. One of the dream sequences/hallucinations. The gypsy's eyes pop out, obvious CG.

  • oh yeah, i remember that. so thats at least two

  • I'm so happy that you actually get this movie. Growing up watching Evil Dead made this ten times better for me. And the nose part was probably my favorite, so funny and unexpected.

  • BIG FISH!!!!

    Hell Yea!

I loved the ending took me completely by surprise. I was like, "Yeah, she spent the whole movie to redeem her soul and then in the last 2 minutes....."

    SO AWESOME.

    Best way to end it.

But I was expecting her to die in the first 30 min(ala Psycho) and continue in the perspective of Lorna Raver.

    But entertaining film nonetheless.

  • u make it sound like its nc-17 horror or something.. it's pg-13.. traumatising??!!

  • What does the rating have to do with anything? Scary is scary.

  • Can't wait to see Drag Me To Hell

  • CG = Computer Graphics also referred to as "CGI" which stands for "Computer Generated Imagery."

  • I would like to see Christian Bale in Drag Me to Hell.

  • necronomicon boogers!

  • Hmmmm.... I can't even remember "the NOSE part!!!!!" Someone remind me?

  • When she gets the nosebleed.

  • Lol I thought they were talking about the fly going up her nose haha

  • Oh yeah! lol! Another great nose part. :D

  • i think the movie wasent that good it wasent even close to scary to me it was a comedy LOl i loved the ending but overall the movie was cliche and predictable

  • I'm guessing you haven't seen the Evil Dead movies? It IS a comedy - a comedy-horror to be precise, that's Sam Raimi's style.

  • Drag me to Hell was great! I love how they used the opening credits. It seemed like classic cinema.

Jennifer Connelly is the women from Dark City.

  • Well I don't know what else Sam Raimy has done, in fact I didn't know he's done the Spider Man movies. I didn't even know the Tobey Maguire played Spider Man until you mentioned that he was cast as Rick Hunter in the live action Robotech and I went and looked up his name. XD

Wow, I've liked a lot of his stuff apparently.

  • Awesome shit as usual! I saw it before watching this review and I did actually jump at one point, ha haa! I will be getting the DVD when it comes out. 5*

  • A lot of films i am going to watch because of your reviews Thank you =)

  • in a way he did come back to horror- boogeyman?

  • He was only a producer on Boogeyman, he didn't direct it. He's produced a LOT of stuff over the years, but this is the first horror he's directed since the Evil Dead trilogy.

  • "Why can't I remember his name!"

    'cuz you know too many!!

    lolz!

    nice vid!

  • You guys should do more of these. I really enjoyed you two reviewing the movie together.

  • Awesome stuff, not big on horror causes bad things to happen with cp but you guys are great together! Looking to more joint videos down the road!

  • Zaranyzerak are you going to continue with Dead Space?

  • Yes, we will be doing the entire game.

  • Cool, when will you continue?

  • Some time next week. Got some new DVD updates to get out of the way first, plus we have to actually finish Chapter 9 (of the game). We filmed the next 3 episodes, but didn't QUITE get to the end of the chapter (it's a long/tough one), so I want to finish that before putting up the next batch of episodes. I like to have each batch be a complete chapter.

  • Oh, that's cool. I know about chapter nine and twelve, difficult.....

  • I talked about him near the end, I didn't bother mentioning he was in the Evil Dead movies because I assume everyone knows that by now and would realize that's why I brought him up.

  • if any offense im sorry sean..and thank you to lettin me know he wasnt the director..thats something i learned now..thank you..now i dont look like an idiot

  • Aww, no worries sev! It takes a lot more than mixing up a movie credit to offend me...hehehe!

  • am i the only one that knows the grudge?

raimi rules..i like him..hes a pompus ass but nontheless he is sexy!darn you for not noticing he did the grudge!i love ya anyhow..btw alison lohman was in white oleander and big fish..about how scary..im not scared by how she lays down and sees the face..ugh..not scary i have to ask annetta..do you hear commentary from sean when you watch a movie?i feel you..when you are apprehensive..

  • Well, Sam PRODUCED The two Grudge movies, but didn't direct them. That doesn't count, sorry.

As for whether or not Annetta is inundated by my commentaries during movies...no comment. ;) But seriously, I'm actually pretty quiet while watching a movie. I'm one of those people who likes to give a movie my FULL attention (and it actually really annoys me when whoever I'm watching it with doesn't) Oh, I'll point out a familiar actor or director, but that's about it.

  • Nerd Rage was the best part.....next to "god bless us everyone". LawL.

You two are perfect together for movie reviews.

  • We need an Anetta Video Playlist.

  • i dont mind the other vids length but one like this 5min and < movie reviews...or 3 at a time to get your length:)

  • Well, you know me, I like to ramble.

  • big anetta fan now, can she have her own videos

  • That was wonderful! Anetta is so fucking adorable (i'm officially an antetta fan girl)

I really enjoyed seeing you two do a video together like this, more? I finally got to see X-Men Origins Wolverine, and yeah....expect to see a video about that soon lol

  • There shall be more Annetta in the near future. First up, we have some bloopers from this one... The amount we were laughing our asses off at the start, I'm amazed we actually managed to get it done! ;)

  • I agree, You guys should do more reviews.

  • haha its funny cos the mac guy was actually using a mac in the office

  • someone said that it had a lot of references to the evil dead series, but all i could catch was the yellow car,

  • LOVED LOVED this movie, it was a great jump out of your seat horror/comedy. It was really awesome, it had me on the edge of my seat and a great all back to the Evil Deads.

  • Did you guys notice that they had the old yellow car from the first Evil Dead movie I think that it was awesome that they had it in the movie.

  • I saw it.

  • I knew him from the Evil dead series

  • You two should do more reviews! :)

  • Anneta (sp) is referring to Jennifer Connely in Dark City. She would have been great though I think Lohman played it well. My GF was not a big fan of Long's character either.

  • YES! Thank you, I actually remembered it later...hehehe. Yeah, now that I think about it she would have been good too.

  • There was really only ONE cgi moment that I disliked... but I'll spare anyone the SPOILERS! ;)

  • Great update!! Annetta, you are so pretty!! Your eyes sparkle!!!!

  • i might go see this movie idk but keep up the vids

  • Saw this yesterday haha, was a perfect film to watch in a group i think, scares and laughs galore, i loved how tongue in cheek it was but was still quite gripping.

    Loving your work Z.

  • Double Zee We Love You

  • Oh and The Matrix Revolutions didn't have end credits with a RATM song. lol

  • True, that one actually had good ending credit music. The first two irritated me, though...thought it blew the whole awesome mood that the movies had created! :P

  • I knew he done Evil Dead. I'd love to see a crossover Evil Dead/Grindhouse. it would be awesome to see Ash Williams and Cherry Darling. Can you imagine a guy with a chainsaw-arm with a girl that has a machine gun-leg? lol

  • awesome review man=)

    5 stars

  • haha, Your wife is a good "review partner" man, Keep up the good work guys !>

  • It was a fucking awesome experience. I loved every minute of it! Great review Zman!
