No one converted me and I've never been in church. I just came to understand that if there's such a thing as truth, it exists as a catagory and only it knows what it is. Jesus asked, who do you say I am? Somehow I believe that the truth lies not in the answer, but in the question itself, if that makes any sense.

I'll admit, that's what I though he was talking about at first too -- confusing, given the truths in his other songs. However, if you listen, he talks about holding on to and clinging to the power. I think this is a reference to the stormy sea, when Peter was able to run across the water as long as he focused on (and believed in) Jesus. When he let his fears overcome him...
