i was filming that video.. he was a really cool guy, we lent him our midi keyboard while he was in Shanghai so he could make beats.. in return he agreed to do those DJ tutorials for DJViBE TV. he was one of the greats.. i feel priveledged to have met him and learned from him... his skills will continue to inspire generations of DJs to come. we were told last week at the dmc world finals that he had a 50/50 chance of walking again. but to find he has passed is such a shock. as qbert says RIP (relax in paradise). built from scratch is one of the greatest albums of all-time.
