@Chunmeista They "kinda" released a Cowboy Bebop scrolling shooter. In this one you take control of Spike's Swordfish II from a third person perspective. Each level involves chasing another ship along a set track through different environments, while enemies attack. Each stage ends with a boss battle, confronting your target.
Between stages points can be spent to buy upgrades for the ship. But it was only released in Japan.
(also, sorry to hear you lost the original copy. if you still want it there are certain programs that can rip audio and video from you tube vids... maybe look into downloading one? :T )
