It can happen to anyone. I know a lady who is German born, naturalized citizen who has a dark complexion and dark brown eyes. When she was travelling someone thought she was Italian. It also allows for arrest without warrant or cause.
For example, if YOU call the cops because someone broke into your house the officer would be required to determine your legal status.

If the federal government enforced its laws, Arizona would not have done this. We cannot open our borders to everyone in the world who wants to come here. If we do the USA will not survive.

I am cancelling my membership to the ACLU. When a country can no longer regulate who enters and exits, it will not remain a country for much longer.
