  • The AA Raw Ride (22") sounds AMAZING with rivets!! I'll see if i can post up a video of how it sounds...

  • @daveyj10

Please do post that so I can hear it - I have some rivets and a drill!

  • 2455 gold, thats way to much to farm, screw this

  • hay i just pick one if these baby's up for 200 and this video really helped my make my decision thanks!

  • is it quiet? I'm looking for a good quiet dry-ish ride. Should I go for a flat ride? I really love love love the sounds of flats, nut i love dry bells.

  • Yes, it's kind of quiet. What do you think of the Zildjian K Custom Special Dry? That might work for what you're describing. Thanks for watching!

  • @bostondrum I actually liked the sound of the Dream cymbals that you hosted. But, I think I set my heart on the Mienl Jazz series :)

  • if you want a REALLY nice flat ride, i'd go with Dream Cymbals. theyre fairly new, but they know what theyre doing.

  • this was a 5 month old comment, which ride did you end up going with?

  • I got a Hand Hammered 20inch. It's good. But Its a little... Not dry? It sounds beautiful though. I got it because I needed a loud-ish ride for my live jazz groups. I'm glad though.

  • I'm really interested in buying one of these babies. But I don't know if to get a 20" or 22". I want to use it for slow and obscure songs. Kind of like radiohead stuff. I have a few rides but they are all too bright but this one seals the deal. What do you suggest?

  • I like the 22" myself, but the 20" might sit better in that kind of music. How loud is it? What are the other instruments?

  • What do you like about the 22"? I would be battling with a Mesa Boogie amp and an Egnater. I want to apply it to a variety of songs that we want to make really really dark, think Pink Floyd meets Marlyn Manson. I heard the 20" here and at a music store and I liked it, but I have four 20" rides, one 21" and two 22". So I want to have a 22" and have it "open" up a little more. Sorry for the letter!!!

  • It seems to me that the 22" has a little more "spread" while the 20" is more focused. Of course, if you want to go huge, we could special order you a 24"!

  • how much different is the 20 inch version?

  • Same idea, just higher pitched.

  • think its good for rock?

  • It's a little quiet, but it could work ...

  • it's ugly but sexy as hell, I've got the sabian AA raw bell dry ride, great for rockin

  • my friends such an idiot, he said this was on of the greatest rides he's ever heard, but it wasnn't shiny so he didn't buy it, and spent an extra 100 on a zildjian

  • Ouch!

  • i have the 20 inch

    it is amazing

it works as a great crash too!

  • You got that right. We sold this cymbal and I kind of want it back, LOL!

  • o ya first comment!!!

sweet ride i have the same one

  • Definitely one of our favorite Sabian models. Thanks!
