@400underground Its a public airshow, they're not allowed to drop real ordinances or shoot the 30mm GAU for real. It's all simulated. Only select shows with limited people will allow real demos to take place.

Thats because it's ordinary people watching the show, and its enough to "wow" them without blowing huge holes in the ground or tearing up the ground with 30mm rounds which are expensive by the way. Your average airshow will cost a few 100 grand by the time you get done paying everyone for their performances and all the fuel used to fly the planes. If you want to see real JDAMS hit or A10 firing then its just a Youtube search away...
