If youve had 4/5 dogs that crapped in the house then you should be looking in the mirror, not at the dogs. If youre in charge the dogs will not shit in the house. If youre not in charge they will crap when and where the mood takes them.
omg! sooo cute! wat kind of dog is ur dog? seriously, my dog looks exactly like urs! when we talk to him he makes those faces too! hes so mellow and adorable my dog is. and ur dog looks like a great dog to have in the house. please let me know if u know what kind ur dog is.
69000 people wasted a minute and a half of their lives waiting for Archie to get up go use the toilet, then flush and wash his paws in the sink like a person that wouldnt dare poop in the house or even the yard.
Ya poops not an issue cuz Archie is shittin in the neighbors yard. You're one of them assholes that let's your dog run around and shit all over the place. You suck!
@TheHABSSUCK1 hey mister go screw yourself , find some to screw your as s hole , guess what , youll die and dogs will still poop in your garden, animal hater
I had a mutt dog that was my first dog when I moved to the farm I grew up on-her name was Nibbles (she chewed on EVERYTHING when we first got her). When I had hogs, she would jump through the fence and walk circles around me to keep the hogs away. She was a great, great dog and was seemingly embarrassed if you caught her going to the bathroom. She would go out behind the buildings, but never in the yard. She was tragically taken away when the neighbor wasn't watching his speed going by our house
We had a dog that came from a stray. She not only never went in the house... never had to train any other dog I brought into the house during the 12 years we had her.
What did you do with the "other 4 dogs?" Was it a game for you to take in 4 dogs, not teach them to be housetrained and then bail on them? Seems to be a funny joke for you now.
I've heard some people say their dog never ever went to the bathroom in the house. Even as a puppy. How on earth do you get your dog to understand that without one mistake? I'd love to know! He is very pretty by the way. I use to have a dog named Archie.
My dog never has. It's all in how you train them. You start the very first time you pull into the driveway with your new puppy. After the drive home, before ever entering your house, you immediately take him to the spot in your yard (or where ever) that you want him to go. You wait there how ever long it takes (I don't care if it's an hour or two) for them to go. At the EXACT moment they begin to go, say the words "do it" in a loud, firm (but not scary) fashion. When they are done (continued)
give them some lovin'. Now then, take them inside. In the house you will "crate train" them. Have a portable kennel set up with a divider inside it that is adjusted so it is just big enough for the dog to stand or lay down in it, but NO BIGGER. When you go to bed at night, put the dog in the kennel. Every once in awhile, you will have a "dirty dog", or a dog that will go in his kennel, BUT, 99% of dogs do not like to go in an area where they sleep or spend a lot of time being extemely close to.
When you get up in the morning, THE FIRST THING YOU DO is take your dog outside to the designated area. As you and your dog pass through the door, say "go potty outside". Do this everytime you pass through the doorway to take them to go. Once at the area, wait until they begin, then, at the moment they begin to go, use the "do it" command as before. Follow this routine every day. Now then, you must also remember the "input equals output" rule for dogs. While house breaking your dog.....
NEVER free feed them ( free feed means to put food in a bowl and just leave it there all day, whether they eat it or not). You will feed you puppy in the morning about 7 am, at about noon, and then about 7 pm. 3 times a day. Offer them food at these times, BUT, if they do not eat it.....put it away. Only give them one chance (they will learn soon enough to take it when offered) Now then.....if they do eat, wait 15 minutes, then take them outside to go potty. A dog will have to go about.....
10 to 15 minutes after eating. Follow the rules pertaining to commands that I gave before. After awhile, you dog will know what "go potty outside" means, and when you say it, he will head for the door. And after awhile, while outside, when you say "do it", your dog will go on command. That's how I have trained every dog I have ever owned, and it has worked EVERY time. Later tater. Hope that helps.
Thats interesting. My parents had lab/beagle mix that went on command. The command was "Do your duty" It was strange because they day we brought it home from the shelter, that was the one thing my dad would say and she would go. Like she already knew.
You don't know where he does his business? I think you're the problem, not the dog.
