Pros:

Well done. Much more calming than most fireplaces on YouTube. Long duration. Real. Changing scene keeps interest.

Con: The metal fireplace frame was visible for the first 1/3 or so of video, was kind of unattractive and "cold" looking. As if there was a light on in the main room. Also could use a bit more crackle.

Overall:

In the top 3. And big compliments for the effort and diligence that went into creating a true fire with changing logs, etc. Variety rocks.

We had a nice fireplace such as yours in the house I grew up in, and I miss it so! On a side note, you are an excellent fire-stoker. You keep the flame consistent and even burning. last comment- right when the fire gets truly amazing (btw, this guys builds an amazing fire) the video ends. It would have been great to go to the point were it burns down to embers. Nice job.

once the fire gets going he finally turns off the lights and the distracting surround blends in and you do not notice as much (for me, it was too distracting to relax). However,every once and a while the lights get turned on again; which takes away from the yummy warm glow that finally starts to happen. However, I still think you have done a great job, just some things to consider for the next video.

video is ok - I wish you had zoomed in tighter on the flames so that the unleveled view of the surrounding fireplace was not showing. I feel had you done this it would have made the video intimate and glow more. Perhaps you did it this way for a reason, but the unleveled mantel is sort of a bummer. However, good job overall! I truly appreciate the video length.
