chen da guang he has been an extra in like 50 odd movies. he was an action director on project A 2 and drunken master 2. he is still active playing thugs :) in stuff like rob b hood and legendary assassin. he must have some connections with jackie i will inquire
Thank you!/Xie xie :) I saw him when Anthony Bourdain: No reservation was in Hong Kong - you can see that clip here on YouTube, part 3. He met Jackie Chan's stunt team, so I think he is a member.
Fo' real, yo. It's rare he gets to play the good guy sometimes. I hope he'll display his skills again sometime soon. I haven't seen him kickin much butt after watchin the 'Myth'.
all these guys are older now and these films cause a lot of injuries and nobody is in any hurry to bring back these hardcore styles. only tony jaa has come close to the level of pain the 1985-1995 films reached
That's a shame (sigh). Tony, Jeeja, Cyril...they're the new generation and they're the only ones who are willing to take some scrapes and bruises to showcase what they know. Hopefully, we'll see more of these three as time progresses.
@kungtriadsociety Yep, shame, I miss the hardcore fighting from back then. I wasn't watching the films back then but I do now, need more good martial artists to get into movies!
