True story: once met a cab driver from India. As we got to talking I mentioned that I thought people from India are the most gorgeous people on earth. He asked why and I said "Because their skin is so beautiful". He told me some people in India spend thousands of dollars to lighten their skin. I couldn't believe it.

Having said that, you really can't go after Ponds for providing a product that people want. And you certainly shouldn't wish someone death by fire for making a commercial!
