We never got this show in grand rapids, michigan. our stupid NBC affiliate, wood tv, aired the vicki! show instead.

I had a friend that lived in Ionia and she recorded it from Lansing channel 10 from me, and it aired at 3pm.

Yes, but not bigger than winning 10 games, which netted $40,000! Originally, though it was $55,500 for 10 games!
I could have sworn there was a $21,000 Bonus Sprint win during the original series.......was there?

Actually, if I recall correctly, this is highest jackpot for either version.
(and to think, it came from the version with the f***ed up way of adding money to the jackpot)

That's what amazed me the most.
I saw another contestant on the 93 edition win $16,500. If it was getting that high, makes me think that not a lot of people were winning it this time out. :/
