Looks like one of those orbs that are turning up in various places lately..seemed to be taking a sample, then popping the right angle and slowing, perhaps to analyse any EMF using the trail as an antenna. Very good catch. At first I thought it was just a star or far off jet. Your correct. It does make a sharp turn just after it passes by. I guess a jet could do this but who knows.
